Mix them and let them sit for about three days. On an auspicious day, a kind-hearted person should feed it once each morning. This is a hand-received teaching for sure protection. If a sheep eats poison and becomes sick, it will grind its teeth and have yellow diarrhea. You can feed it sour milk or whey to help. If a sheep has a disease that causes the four limbs to swell and makes it difficult to walk, recite: Om Vajra Samaya Hri Da Bham Svaha. Recite: Lta Lba Uccai Hri Da Hum Phat. Recite it one hundred thousand times and bless the water in a large flowing river. Sprinkle it three times a day. This is a hand-received method for overcoming the disease. Signs that a sheep or calf has lungworms: coughing, nasal congestion, swelling of the head and eyes. You can pour a little medicinal water into the nostrils to help. In addition, for any type of sheep disease, measuring four fingers up from the tip of the nose to the corner of the face, the vein there is called the 'nasal sea'. Bleeding this vein has also been seen to be effective. The mantra for protecting the lungs, stomach, and consciousness: Om Pi Khri Li Mi Li Ti Sang Sa Nor Gyi Glo Gor Hon gSum Raksha Raksha. Mix the following medicines: asafoetida, black gugul, black shudak, black musk, jellyfish, rue, camphor, black mustard, and then recite the mantra. Mix this medicine with ink and write the mantra without syllables, and at the end write: Khrom Kshom, roll it up from the bottom and hang it. The mantra for protecting livestock from oral harm: Om Ka La Sha Du Ma, Om Te Ti Te Tar, Ka La Pa Sa Kya. Recite it one hundred and eight times, and tie a knot on a black and white thread made of the left wool of a ewe. Make eighty such knots and tie them to the left horn. This is a very secret and special instruction for recitation. The mantra for protecting against oral harm: In the early morning, visualize yourself as the embodiment of the white Naga king, a white frog, with nectar flowing from its mouth to eliminate disease. Recite: Om Naga Ra Tsa Kha La Svaha, and then feed the water. Alternatively, recite: Om Ar Na Yang Sha Svaha. Bless gugul, clear water, costus root, musk, etc., and feed them to the livestock to effectively treat the disease.
