Do this for seven days, engaging in supplication and practice. Other fellow practitioners can make tsatsas (small clay stupas), sprinkle water, and recite scriptures such as the 'Golden Light Sutra' or the 'Five Skandhas Sutra,' all of which should be done in advance. On the final day, entrust the merit of the practice to the jurisdiction of the Four Great Kings (Yul Khams rGyal Chen bZhi, Four Great Kings) to protect the border wars. Specifically, near the house of the practice site, facing north, build four or one brick, and offer it to the Four Great Kings, and arrange abundant offerings in front of them, bless and purify them. From emptiness, visualize: Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Yul 'khor Srung, Dhṛtarāṣṭra) the Eastern King, white, holding a pipa; Virūḍhaka (Phags sKyes Po, Virūḍhaka) the Southern King, blue, holding a sword in his right hand and leaning on the hilt in his left; Virūpākṣa (Mig Mi bZang, Virūpākṣa) the Western King, red, holding a snake lasso and a pagoda; Vaiśravaṇa (Lus Ngan Po, Vaiśravaṇa) the Northern King, yellow, holding a staff filled with jewels in his right hand and a mongoose in his left. Visualize that each of the Four Great Kings is surrounded by countless retinues, appearing clearly in an instant. From your heart, radiate light, and from the four directions of Mount Meru, invite the Four Great Kings and their retinues, reciting 'Bza'a Sa Ma Dza:' (Vajra Samaja). Merge them with 'Dzah Hum Bam Hoh' (Attract, Merge, Stabilize, Release). Recite: 'Om Dhṛṣṭa Rāṣṭrāya Svāhā (梵文罗马拟音：Om Dhṛṣṭarāṣṭrāya Svāhā，梵文天城体：ॐ धृतराष्ट्राय स्वाहा，Mantra of the Eastern King Dhṛtarāṣṭra, may the Eastern King Dhṛtarāṣṭra accomplish)'; 'Om Virūḍhakaāya Svāhā (梵文罗马拟音：Om Virūḍhakāya Svāhā，梵文天城体：ॐ विरुढकाय स्वाहा，Mantra of the Southern King Virūḍhaka, may the Southern King Virūḍhaka accomplish)'; 'Om Virūpākṣāya Svāhā (梵文罗马拟音：Om Virūpākṣāya Svāhā，梵文天城体：ॐ विरूपाक्षाय स्वाहा，Mantra of the Western King Virūpākṣa, may the Western King Virūpākṣa accomplish)'; 'Om Vaiśramaṇāya Svāhā (梵文罗马拟音：Om Vaiśramaṇāya Svāhā，梵文天城体：ॐ वैश्रमणाय स्वाहा，Mantra of the Northern King Vaiśravaṇa, may the Northern King Vaiśravaṇa accomplish)'. Offer with offerings from 'Om Vajra Argham (梵文罗马拟音：Om Vajra Argham，梵文天城体：ॐ वज्र अर्घम्，Vajra Offering)' to 'Shabda (梵文罗马拟音：Shabda，梵文天城体：शब्द，Sound)'. Offer the torma (gtor ma, sacrificial cake) with the 'Akashagarbha Mantra'. Praise with phrases such as 'Profound and vast contemplation'. Request them to perform their tasks: Visualize yourself as the deity, with Guru Padmasambhava (padma 'byung gnas, Padmasambhava) above your head, and recite: 'Hum! Great King of the Gods, Lord of the World!' etc., verses and prose, and finally recite 'Om Supratiṣṭha Vajrāya Svāhā (梵文罗马拟音：Om Supratiṣṭha Vajrāya Svāhā，梵文天城体：ॐ सुप्रतिष्ठ वज्राय स्वाहा，Firm Vajra, may the Vajra abide)', and shower flowers, and say auspicious words. Then, in the second seven days, first perform the self-generation of the deity, bless the offerings, and then, like the offering ritual, recite the practice ritual of the Four Great Kings and make offerings. When offering alcohol, recite the third line of the 'Invocation of the Vidyadhara Lineage': 'Especially the deities of the powerful Lotus Mandala'. Then recite the second of the two verses: 'The powerful Four Great Kings and other Dharma protectors, and the arrogant lords of existence, parents and children' etc. Then purify the fire pit, and from emptiness, from the syllable 'Om', generate the target of visualization such as an iron house frame. Visualize from the hearts of yourself and the main retinue of the Four Great Kings, emanate many messengers holding iron hooks, ropes, chains, and bells, hooking and capturing the target involuntarily, and merging into the linga (substitute effigy).
