Then, for the first seven days, perform the preliminary practice of self-generation (Tibetan: བདག་བསྐྱེད, Sanskrit: Atmautpatti, Romanized Sanskrit: Atmautpatti, Literal meaning: Self-generation). The offering and blessing are as follows: Hum! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) From the nature of pure Dharmadhatu (Tibetan: ཆོས་དབྱིངས་, Sanskrit: Dharmadhatu, Romanized Sanskrit: Dharmadhatu, Literal meaning: Realm of Dharma), the naturally arising mass of offerings, like the Samantabhadra offering cloud, fills the boundless sky. Om Vajra Argham (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨརྒྷཾ, Sanskrit: Om Vajra Argham, Romanized Sanskrit: Om Vajra Argham, Literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Offering water), padyam (Tibetan: པཱ་དྱཾ, Sanskrit: padyam, Romanized Sanskrit: padyam, Literal meaning: Foot washing water), pushpe (Tibetan: པུཥྤེ, Sanskrit: pushpe, Romanized Sanskrit: pushpe, Literal meaning: Flower), dhupe (Tibetan: དྷཱུ་པེ, Sanskrit: dhupe, Romanized Sanskrit: dhupe, Literal meaning: Incense), aloke (Tibetan: ཨཱ་ལོ་ཀེ, Sanskrit: aloke, Romanized Sanskrit: aloke, Literal meaning: Light), gandhe (Tibetan: གནྡྷེ, Sanskrit: gandhe, Romanized Sanskrit: gandhe, Literal meaning: Perfume), naivedya (Tibetan: ནཻ་བིདྱཱ, Sanskrit: naivedya, Romanized Sanskrit: naivedya, Literal meaning: Food), Shabda Puja Ho (Tibetan: ཤབྡ་པཱུ་ཛ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit: Shabda Puja Ho, Romanized Sanskrit: Shabda Puja Ho, Literal meaning: Sound, Offering, Ho)! And recite: Om Ah Hum Ha Ho Hrih! (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧ་ཧོ་ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit: Om Ah Hum Ha Ho Hrih, Romanized Sanskrit: Om Ah Hum Ha Ho Hrih, Literal meaning: Om, Ah, Hum, Ha, Ho, Hrih)! After blessing, from emptiness, on a jewel eight-petaled lotus in the center, visualize yourself as the wrathful deity of the Yidam, with a large body, coarse limbs, unbearable splendor, every part of the body filled with clouds of wrathful flames, in the midst of the blazing fire of the eon's end, subduing the three realms, overwhelming the three existences, becoming the great and unmatched lord of power. In the east, from Dhrim (Tibetan: དྷྲྀཾ, Devanagari: धृं, Romanized Sanskrit: dhrim, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) arises Dhṛtarāṣṭra (Tibetan: ཡུལ་འཁོར་སྲུང་, Sanskrit: Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Romanized Sanskrit: Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Literal meaning: Upholder of the Nation) white, surrounded by countless retinues. On their heads are white Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om), throats have red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah), and hearts have blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum). From your heart, radiate light, and from their tops, emanate many wrathful desire kings holding iron hooks and ropes, drawing them from the hearts of the Four Great Kings, making them come involuntarily. Imagine the sounds of various musical instruments being blown, struck, and played, the clouds of white incense smoke, the black silk banners, in the firm confidence of the Yidam, accompanied by the iron hook mudra and the changes of compassionate melodies, recite: Hum! The land of Rodan north of Mount Meru (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ༔ རི་རབ་བྱང་ཕྱོགས་རོ་ལྡན་ཡུལ༔) etc., inviting, abiding, prostrating, offering, praising, confessing, as usual. Then, clearly visualize the object of recitation. It is said that each of the four mantras, at the end, should be added with Jah Hum Ah! (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit: jah hum ah, Romanized Sanskrit: jah hum ah, Literal meaning: Jah, Hum, Ah)! Recite four hundred thousand times. During the practice of faith and understanding, recite as much as possible, and signs will appear in reality, dreams, or visions. When offering the Torma during the session breaks, recite the Yidam's mantra to the Yidam deity, and at the end add Saparivara Idam Balimta Grihnantu Soha (Tibetan: ས་པ་རི་བཱ་ར་ཨི་དམ་བ་ལིཾ་ཏ་གྲྀ་ཧྞནྟུ་སོགས་, Sanskrit: saparivara idam balimta grihnantu soha, Romanized Sanskrit: saparivara idam balimta grihnantu soha, Literal meaning: Together with retinue, enjoy this Torma), to the Four Great Kings recite their respective mantras, and at the end add Maharaja (Tibetan: མ་ཧཱ་རཱ་ཛ་སོགས་, Sanskrit: Maharaja, Romanized Sanskrit: Maharaja, Literal meaning: Great King) etc., recite three times, and offer with Om Vajra Argham (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨརྒྷཾ་སོགས་, Sanskrit: Om Vajra Argham, Romanized Sanskrit: Om Vajra Argham, Literal meaning: Om, Vajra, Offering water) etc., and entrust the activities of 'The protector of the east is the guardian deity' (Tibetan: ཤར་ཕྱོགས་ན་ནི་གནས་སྲུང་པོ༔) etc. Then, according to the ritual, perform the Ganachakra, and the common and individual Torma rituals of the Dharma protectors, especially before offering the common Torma of the treasure lords, recite the supplication of the four gate guardians and four pass guardians of Tibet, and the final parts of the ritual should also be as detailed as possible. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
