To all those beings with disheveled hair and unsightly forms, and to the king of the pretas (hungry ghosts) who roam in the sky, as well as to the demons, fierce gods, war gods, ogres, evil spirits, malevolent spirits, madmen, scavengers, forgetters, flesh-eaters, earth spirits, and all beings belonging to the preta realm, I offer this pure essence of offering, with the intention that each may be satisfied. I beseech! I offer! May they be free from the suffering of hunger and thirst, gain dominion over the treasury of space, may all beings rejoice and partake, and be endowed with the sacred Dharma of liberation. O! Furthermore, to the lords of karma in the hell realms, the great Yama Dharma Raja Ava Langgo (human head, bull body), Raksha Pago (human head, pig body), and all the executioner Yamas residing around them, who seize the life breath of all beings and show the mirror of karma in the bardo; and those who terrifyingly chop, cut, cook, skin, pierce with stakes, plow the tongue with plows, and inflict endless suffering with various weapons; and the eight hot hells, such as the burning hell and the extremely hot hell; the eight cold hells, such as the lotus cracking hell and the blue lotus cracking hell; and the neighboring hells, and all beings belonging to the hell realms, who are tormented by the great darkness of karma, I offer this pure essence of offering, and the supreme offering of nectar medicine. To all of these, with pure essence offerings, devoutly offer! Pray! Sacrifice! Each offer them their favorite food, drink, and enjoyment, and pray that after they enjoy it, they do not stare at the living with the eyes of the dead. The love of the dead is a great source of harm to the living, so please return to your positions and do your duty of guarding the tombs! If you dead are well, then the living will prosper, so please bring auspiciousness and prosperity! May all diseases and deaths be eliminated, may the eternal rule be the beginning of good deeds, enter the path of enlightenment, and always practice the sacred Dharma!
