And regarding the teachings on Ati Nyingthig, such as the twenty-five spoken of with the key point of pure union, each should be done according to their own tradition. Placing just a small thangka of the main deity in the gaps of the decorations also seems to be the practice of the early Nyingma vidyadharas, so if possible, it should be done. Although it is said to place the nectar on a conch shell or skull cup, and then on top of the vase, in the practice of the maturation ritual, it is placed on the tingphor (a type of bowl) used for demarcation. In reality, it is necessary to stack vases, skull cups, and mirrors, etc., which is both convenient and has the meaning of offering, so it is good to do so. If the preliminary mandala has not been gathered before, then place it on its left and right sides, etc. If it has already been gathered, then place the deities in their respective positions, or place Namgyal (the deity's name) in the center, and the karma vase in the northeast corner, and arrange the offerings and tormas. Since the blessings precede it, generate the vase as a palace, or visualize the deity arising on a seat in a self-arisen immeasurable palace, and then invite the wisdom beings according to the extensive or concise methods of each tradition, and offer praise and offerings. If it is very concise, it is also acceptable to visualize the vase as a self-arisen palace, and the deities appearing clearly in an instant like stars appearing in a clear lake, and then engage in recitation. The former is suitable for extensive practice in the preliminary stage, and the latter is suitable for doing the vase practice separately, which can be adapted to the circumstances. In any case, after taking the protection cord and completing the recitation with the addition and subtraction of the visualization, at the end, visualize offering a stream of nectar blessed by the three syllables (oṃ āḥ hūṃ, oṃ āḥ hūṃ, oṃ āḥ hūṃ, body, speech, and mind), and then pouring conch water, visualizing the samaya being and the wisdom being as inseparable, transforming into the essence of nectar bodhicitta, and becoming one taste with the vase water. In the Sutra and Mayajala tantras, it is necessary to separately add the consecration ritual of the complete stage, etc., which indicates that there are many special dharmas, but since they are usually not needed, and many people now know how to practice them, there is no need to mention them here. In the karma vase, nectar is generally gathered, Or, for the deities of the Padma family, represented by Hayagriva, generate the wrathful deity of one's own family, perform the complete three-part ritual, or visualize it as instantly perfected, and then recite to stimulate its mindstream. Finally, either do not dissolve it into light and directly entrust it with activities, or visualize it dissolving into light and transforming into vase water, a small wrathful deity, or vajra dust. For some traditions, there is the practice of preparing cleansing water at the beginning of the karma practice, so use that for the cleansing torma and bathing, and there is no need to practice the karma vase separately. Since the thangkas and other samaya supports and the samaya substances represented by the vase have not entered the mandala, they should be concealed with a curtain to avoid being seen. Fourth, preparing the disciple. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
