The place of offering and giving this vast Torma (gtor ma) of offering and generosity is: The glorious Great Black Protector (shrī mahākāla), the doctor of the three poisons' diseases, the master of the activity of subduing demons, the life force of all vidyadharas, the protector of all yogis, the lord of the inner and outer assemblies, the dakini yaksha Bétali (yakṣa bai ta li), the protector of body, speech, and mind, the protector of the ten directions, the protector of the eight classes, the thousand Black Ones, the hundred thousand flesh-eaters, and the billions of war gods. Offer! Give! Pray! Recite! The utmost joy, the best offering, please be pleased with the assembly of desirable qualities. Please protect and guard us, the retinue, and fulfill all our wishes as desired. The entrusted activity scripture is: Destroy the enemies and obstructors from the four directions and four intermediate directions, who are malicious and hateful, written in name and form, like particles of dust. Just by reciting these, all offerings such as medicine, blood, and torma are transformed into an assembly of desirable qualities, offered to the protector's deities, making them pleased, and visualizing their tongues transforming into the tubes of curved knives, enjoying the offerings. Fourth, to perform the praise, clearly visualize the protector's ornaments and attire, and the retinue, with body, speech, and mind, prostrate and praise the main deity, accompanied by fierce drum sounds, and recite the following: Hūṃ! In the center of the blazing fire of the kalpa, in the sacred place of the great charnel ground (dur khrod), is the glorious Great Black Protector (dpal ldan mgon po nag po). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
