The four activities are spontaneously accomplished, symbolizing the subjugation of the four maras. It is adorned with four hand implements, and the four letters of the alphabet: Symbolizing the indwelling of the innate dakinis, the inseparability of samaya and wisdom. The outer layer is surrounded by vajra lotuses, and five-colored rainbows: With the inseparability of skillful means and wisdom, it is immaculate, free from attachment, and immutable. Symbolizing the five kayas and five wisdoms, such is the arrangement of the mandala: It is the palace of the vessel-world, and the dwelling place of the illusory body deities. Vase, nectar, skull cup, mirror adorned with letters: The arrangement of the body and hand implements is the mudra of empowerment: Symbolizing the ripening and liberation of disciples, the indwelling of the deities within: In the center is the body of Vajravarahi, and her retinue, the main deity of the mother tantra: Symbolizing the accomplishment of the great common siddhi, to the east is Vajradakini: The total gathering of the mind dakinis, the supreme mistress of peaceful activities: Is the secret holder of the Tathagata's mind, to the south is Ratnadakini: The total gathering of the body dakinis, the supreme mistress of enriching activities: Is the secret holder of the Tathagata's body, to the west is Padmadakini: The total gathering of the speech dakinis, the supreme mistress of magnetizing activities: Is the secret holder of the Tathagata's speech, to the north is Karmadakini: The total gathering of the activity dakinis, the secret supreme mistress of wrathful activities: Is the secret holder of the Tathagata's activities, furthermore, a multitude of dakini assemblies: Inconceivably dwelling, for the benefit of beings and the protection of the teachings: Symbolizing the emanation and re-emanation, such are all the deity assemblies: The inner essence of sentient beings, male and female, the nature of heroes and heroines: The aggregates of thoughts, elements, and sense bases, the nature of gods and goddesses. Torma offerings, offering clouds, and so forth, body supports, offerings, and displays: For the sake of beings accumulating merit, the deities displayed as ornaments of enjoyment. Dharma siblings, teachers and students together, the mandala settled as dust: Wherever palace and pure land, inseparable and always together: Is the sign of manifestly perfecting enlightenment, thus, remember this gathering here in your mind. Thus, the preliminaries, the stages of entering the outer and inner mandala, have been well completed.
