I invite the Blessed Vajrakumara (Vajrakumara) and the Great Mother Cakrasamvara (Cakrasamvara), along with their retinue, to reside on the seat where the great deities intersect. Please joyfully and steadfastly abide here! Oṃ Vajrakīli kīlaya dīpta chakra samaya tiṣṭha hūṃ. Place in the center. Hūṃ! I invite the self-arisen and accomplished deities of the ten directions! I invite the wrathful king and queen, along with the flesh-eaters, to reside on the seats of the male and female guardians of the directions. Please joyfully and steadfastly abide here! The root mantra of the Ten Wrathful Ones. Samaya tiṣṭha hūṃ. After reciting, place the wrathful deities of the eight directions and the upper and lower directions on the inner sides of the jewels of the east and west and at the base of the skull garland. Hūṃ! In the four directions of the outer courtyard of the mandala, Are the dog-headed lords of the earth, As well as the great spirits of black iron, conch shells, and youths, Please joyfully abide to protect the teachings! Mo ha ghā ta ya ma ma śī ghraṃ karma ka ra ye samaya tiṣṭha hūṃ. Place them in their respective positions as they are. At the same time, place the vases and other items: The vases that were previously blessed, guided by incense, then circumambulate the mandala clockwise, reciting: Hūṃ! This vase endowed with the five wisdoms, Is the support of the great blood-drinking one and his retinue. Please invite them from the realm of Dharma, and here Abide to grant accomplishments! Place the vases on the first tier of the altar above the mandala, placing them with their respective mantras. Skulls: Hūṃ! The skull cup of immortal nectar, etc., place on the second tier of the altar. Other empowerment items: Hūṃ! The nature of the three secrets, the symbols of the mantra, place in the appropriate positions. Having made the land of various kinds beautiful and majestic like the pure land of Samantabhadra, the edges of the mandala are smeared with fragrance containing the five ambrosias, and the four corners are connected by a net of arrows, banners, and colored threads, and swords and other items are also arranged according to the rules. To the east are placed water for drinking and bathing, and the five offerings; to the south are placed the five objects of desire, the seven precious things, the eight auspicious symbols, etc.; to the west are placed the glorious torma of food, drink, things to lick, things to drink, and things to taste, and ribbons fluttering, to the right is the essence of medicine mixed with ambrosia pills, to the left is rakta (blood) containing great meat; to the north are placed blood offerings, poisonous water for washing feet, flowers of the five senses, incense of great meat and terror, butter lamps of great fat, fragrant water such as bile, food of meat, blood, bones, etc., and music of thighbone trumpets and skull drums, etc. To the southeast are placed objects of accomplishment such as increasing objects and longevity increasing objects for the four activities; to the southwest are placed fierce subjugation pits, lidga, and suppression substances; to the northwest are placed tormas for the oath-bound twelve, etc., protectors; to the northeast are placed objects of gathering such as burning and pressing; in addition, all objects suitable for offering are placed around, and recite: Hūṃ! In the charnel ground, the secret supreme mandala, clouds of abundant offerings are spread, and the glorious Mahākāla and his retinue are requested to remember their vows and bestow the accomplishments of body, speech, and mind! Thus arranged, and various musical instruments such as vajra bells, bells, cymbals, drums, and cymbals are played, and all the necessary items for dances, etc., are prepared. The second part includes the practice and offering of the mandala, and the two aspects of empowerment and obtaining accomplishment. First, the master, having bathed and anointed his body with fragrant perfume, adorned with ornaments, sits facing the mandala together with his fellow practitioners, with refuge and bodhicitta as the prelude, starting from the demarcation, until merging into non-duality, and then offers in this way: Hūṃ! With various flowers, beautiful flower garlands, dense clouds of incense, bright lamps, fragrant Ganges water, hundreds of delicious foods, beautiful songs, and musical instruments, etc., the Samantabhadra offering clouds are expanded into an ocean and offered. With beautiful forms, pleasant sounds, fragrant smells, delicious tastes, and comfortable touches, as well as the five objects of desire and the seven royal treasures, auspicious symbols, objects, and the wealth of the heavens, they are offered as an inexhaustible treasure of the sky.
