Secret guardians! Accept the offering torma and dispel enemies and obstacles! Especially avert the harm of outsiders and offenders! Do not forget your past vows! Om Ah Hum! The deity is oneself, and oneself is the deity! Abide in the state of self-nature purity! Oneself is the primordial Heruka! View the phenomenal world as a great mandala! With such virtue, may beings equal to space! Attain the state of the Sugata Buddhas! Om Ah Hum! Source of all qualities, immortal Vimalamitra! Ornament on the crown of five hundred great scholars, auspicious one! May the fortunate followers and disciples gathered here! Have the auspiciousness of abundant wealth and prosperity! This text, arranged and written by Chokgyur Lingpa at Palpung Retreat Center, Kunzang Dechen Osal Ling, the seat of the Lama, may it be auspicious in every way! Mangalam! Additional Empowerment Instructions: ༁ྃ༔ The additional empowerment instructions are: In the center of the mandala vajra fence and fire mountain, draw an eight-petaled lotus with a moon upon which is marked with the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal meaning: None). Above it, place a vase filled with substances, adorned at the neck with a ribbon marked with the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal meaning: None). To the right, place a skull cup containing medicine, representing the form of Cakrasamvara; to the left, place a torma and a sky-dancer image; behind, place a thangka of the Lama; in front, arrange outer and inner offerings such as tsegals. Perform the Lama's practice according to the outer, inner, and secret methods. In particular, visualize the vase as a self-arisen palace, in the center of which are Cakrasamvara in union with his consort and ten deities; above, visualize Vimalamitra with his retinue, appearing instantaneously. From the light rays of my heart, entwined with the mantra cord, going forth and striking the heart of the deity within the vase; from the deity's body, a great bliss wisdom nectar descends, filling the vase. Bathe the disciples, dispel obstacles, establish boundaries, teach the Dharma, and guide them to offer the mandala. Precede with the ten-part offering, and add: 'I have taken all the secret mantra vows.' The master says: 'This is the unsurpassed, secret, and wondrous mandala! Violating its rules, revealing secrets to those without vows, and despising me will cause one to be reborn in hell! Therefore, diligently protect the vows!' Place the vajra on the disciples' heads, give nectar, and guide the disciples to visualize themselves as Cakrasamvara Heruka, focusing on the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) at their hearts; maintain the body posture, cover the face, and hold the breath; burn gugul incense and play musical instruments. At that moment, visualize that, urged by the light rays of the Lama's heart, an inconceivable host of wisdom deities are invited to descend and merge into oneself. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Recite many mantras, and remove the blindfold with Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ. 'Oh, sons of lineage, look at the space of a cubit, blending space and awareness without mixing.' The maṇḍala of ultimate truth is free from arising, abiding, and ceasing. To stabilize it, from the ōṃ (oṃ, ॐ,seed syllable, body) at the guru's brow, white ōṃ (oṃ, ॐ,seed syllable, body) radiates, dissolving into the forehead of the fortunate one, thus establishing the four empowerments. Light fills the body, purifying the obscurations of the body, manifesting as the form of Paṇchen Vimalamitra. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Pray to the gurus, especially pray for the blessings of Vimalamitra. Pour, wash, fill, and seal with the vase empowerment. The emanations of the gurus descend like rain, dissolving into the disciple's body, inseparable. May you receive the empowerment to meditate on the body as a deity! Recite the three seed syllables and the root mantra. From the āḥ (āḥ, आः,seed syllable, speech) at the guru's throat, red āḥ (āḥ, आः,seed syllable, speech) radiates, dissolving into the throat of the fortunate one, thus establishing the four empowerments. Light fills the channels, purifying the obscurations of speech, manifesting as the form of glorious Heruka, father and mother. The stream of bodhicitta from the union of Heruka, father and mother, is experienced in the disciple's throat, increasing bliss and warmth. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Pray to the assembly of deities, pray for the blessings of glorious Heruka. Pray for blessings as the body comes to the crown of the head, bestowing the nectar of non-dual space and wisdom. May you receive the empowerment to recite secret mantras! Recite the three seed syllables and the root mantra. From the hūṃ (hūṃ, हूँ,seed syllable, mind) at the guru's heart, blue hūṃ (hūṃ, हूँ,seed syllable, mind) radiates, dissolving into the heart of the fortunate one, thus establishing the four empowerments. Light purifies the thoughts of the mind and the obscurations of the mind, uniting with the consort Rigmama, rich in space. Completely unite with the three recognitions. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Pray to the yogini, pray for the blessings of the assembly of ḍākinīs. Pray that wisdom arises in this child! May the three supreme recognitions be stable, may the wisdom of example bliss constantly descend, and may the empowerment of the meaning of bliss and emptiness be perfected! Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! 'Ema! Son of lineage, meditate on the body as the letter A (a, अ,seed syllable, emptiness), existing openly in the sky.' Are the meditator and the letter A (a, अ,seed syllable, emptiness) inseparable? If inseparable, then abiding in that state without effort is the intention of the Buddha. Meditate on the letter A (a, अ,seed syllable, emptiness) also dissolving into the sky. Rest in the state of mind that is without substance, clear, and aware, beyond being spoken of! Ema! Rest in the state of mind without effort! In the primordial purity (Ka-dag) of the blending of space and awareness, when awareness dawns without change, belief in the unspeakable is wonderful! This is the intention of Kuntuzangpo. Cultivate with three A's (a, अ,seed syllable, emptiness), awaken with three Phaṭs (phaṭ, फट्,cut through), gather the scattered with three Hūṃs (hūṃ, हूँ,seed syllable, mind), then awareness... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
