Adorning the body with five great snakes is a sign of subduing all nagas! Making a mark with a large pile of ashes is a sign of subduing all charnel grounds! Making a necklace with drops of blood is a sign of subduing the desire realm! Adorning the body with patterns of fat is a sign of benefiting beings with bodhichitta! Iron hair hanging down is a sign of pulverizing harmful spirits! Wrathful beings radiating from the gaps in the hair are a sign of subduing earth lords, nagas, fierce spirits, and local deities! Flames and hailstones radiating from the body are a sign of burning oath-breakers, demons, and obstructing spirits! The right hand raising an iron sword is a sign of slaying all the gods and demons of the eight classes! The left hand holding an iron hook to the heart is a sign of drawing out the earth lords and nagas from their hearts! Casting out an iron scorpion as a messenger is a sign of sucking the blood from the hearts of earth lords and nagas!
