Just by placing the nature of the five wisdoms on the crown of the head, may you believe that you have been blessed with the indivisibility of samaya and wisdom. Adorn the skull crown, and recite: Hūṃ! To control the three realms of existence, manifest the bodhicitta. To generate the wisdom of the three realms, the crown of the head is empowered by the five families of buddhas. Oṃ hrīḥ vajra krota hayagrīva hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ! Kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ āḥ hūṃ svāhā! Ho! Fortunate one, by the empowerment of the crown, may you become equal in fortune to Vajradhara (Vajradhara, 金刚持，Vajradhara, One who holds the vajra) of the Akanishtha (Akanishtha, 阿迦尼师扎，Akaniṣṭha, Highest Pure Land) Dharmadhatu (Dharmadhatu, 法界，Dharmadhātu, Realm of Truth), and to the merit and wisdom. Second, the crest jewel empowerment: Please believe that the crest jewel previously offered to the deity is tied to the crown of the head as a symbol of empowerment. Tie the previously offered crest jewel to the crown of the head, and recite: Hūṃ! Subduing all of samsara and nirvana, equal in fortune to the Bhagavan (Bhagavan, 世尊，Bhagavān, The Blessed One) deity. To inaugurate the kingdom and the Dharma, the crest jewel empowerment is bestowed upon the head. Oṃ hrīḥ padmāntakṛta dharmakāya hūṃ āḥ! Ho! Fortunate one, by the crest jewel empowerment, may you become the king of Dharma, the supreme ornament of beings. Third, the torma empowerment: Visualize the glorious torma Hayagriva (Hayagriva, 马头明王，Hayagrīva, Horse Neck) empowerment mandala (mandala, 坛城，maṇḍala, circle) appearing completely, from the three places radiating the assembly of the deity, mantra garland, hand implements, and light rays. By dissolving into your three places, believe that the three doors have been blessed as the three vajras. Hold the glorious torma, and recite: Hūṃ! The essence of all the Sugata (Sugata, 善逝，Sugata, One who has gone to bliss) buddhas, the glory of the combined body, speech, and mind, the glorious form of Hayagriva, to the fortunate ones' body, speech, and mind, the empowerment of body, speech, and mind is bestowed. May you obtain the empowerment of the four activities! Oṃ hayagrīva kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ! Vāka abhiṣiñca ā! Citta abhiṣiñca hūṃ! Touch the three places. Fourth, the vase empowerment: Visualize the vase as a self-arisen palace, in which the great powerful Hayagriva, together with his retinue, appears, from which a stream of nectar flows. Believe that all the defilements of the three doors are cleansed, and the wisdom of the four empowerments is poured into the continuum, and the activity is completely fulfilled. Hold the auspicious vase, and recite: Hūṃ! The essence of the vase is the Dharmakaya (Dharmakaya, 法身，Dharmakāya, Body of Truth), the nature of the vase is the Sambhogakaya (Sambhogakaya, 报身，Saṃbhogakāya, Body of Enjoyment), the vase water is the Nirmanakaya (Nirmanakaya, 化身，Nirmāṇakāya, Body of Emanation) of compassion, the complete empowerment of the three kayas. Oṃ hrīḥ hayagrīva abhiṣiñca ā! Touch the three places with the vase, and at the end of the root mantra: Kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ! Vāka abhiṣiñca ā! Citta abhiṣiñca hūṃ! Ho!
