'e bi shuddhe shāntiṃ kuru ye svāhā (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: With this purity, bring peace, accomplishment)! The method of repaying karmic debts: First is the offering of food. Bless with Om Ah Hum, Hum! I prostrate before the Victorious One, the Great Powerful Six, and offer immaculate and pure food, and enjoy the offering of ornaments. I pray that you purify the suffering of the deceased. Om naivedya puja megha samudra spharana hum (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, offering food appears like a cloud sea, Hum)! Offer in this way. The ransom food is blessed and transformed with three grains and the Sambhara mantra. Hum! This excellent ransom food, endowed with the five desires, is dedicated to repaying the karmic debts of the six realms. May the deceased accumulate merit and practice the Dharma, and may it be used for the sake of the fruit of liberation. Om sarva bhuta balinta khahi (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, all beings, food, eat!). Throw the ransom food outside. Dharma talk: Hrih! Listen, deceased son/daughter of the family! First, birth is also born from karma, in the middle, dwelling also dwells in karma, and finally, death also dies by karma. When the time of separation of birth and death arrives, do not be attached to relatives, do not cling to the moment's companion, this body is an illusionary aggregate, and consciousness accompanies good and evil karma. The body is the support of the mind, and the mind is attached to the name of the sign. Do not be distracted, abandon the clinging to grasping! Guiding prostration: The close relative holds the nameplate and prostrates. Hrih! I prostrate to the unsurpassed teacher, the precious Buddha, I prostrate to the unsurpassed protector, the precious Dharma, I prostrate to the unsurpassed guide, the precious Sangha, I prostrate to the Three Jewels! I take refuge in the holy Avalokiteshvara! This is enough, if you want to be detailed, you can follow the usual ritual. Place the nameplate on the seat of authority and sever the connection: Hum! Below this place, the six realms dwell, the three sufferings are severe, and birth and death are terrifying, and karmic power is strong. Do not be attached, do not be greedy, abandon the six realms of samsara! Om daha daha sarva naraka gate hetum hum phat (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, burn, burn, all hells, go, cause, Hum, Phat)! Om paca paca sarva preta gate hetum hum phat (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, cook, cook, all pretas, go, cause, Hum, Phat)! Om matha matha sarva tiryak gate hetum hum phat (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, stir, stir, all animals, go, cause, Hum, Phat)! Om sarva duhkha sarva klesha hum phat (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, all suffering, all afflictions, Hum, Phat)! Om sphara vidyan khadga chhindha su hum phat (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, burst, wisdom, sword, cut, good, Hum, Phat)! Om sphara vidyan khadga chhindha ahum phat (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, burst, wisdom, sword, cut, ah, Hum, Phat)! Recite each mantra three times, cutting off the door to rebirth in the six realms. By the blessing of the truth of the Three Jewels, by the compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and mantras, and by the power of deep dependent origination, may the deceased be liberated from the suffering of the six realms and quickly attain the supreme three bodies! Make such a wish. Then purify with karma water and karma mantra, purify with svabhava, in emptiness, Om Mani Padme May I swiftly attain Buddhahood by this merit! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
