She benefits beings in four ways. With the hooked knife in her right hand, she cuts off the root of conceptualization. With the skull cup in her left hand, she controls samsara. With the sword in her right hand, she cuts off the root of birth and death. With the khaṭvāṅga in her left hand, she cuts off the root of the three poisons. She sits in a posture of extending and contracting, symbolizing skillful means and wisdom. Adorned with bone ornaments, symbolizing the self-purification of desire. Her face is youthful, slightly wrathful. With compassion and desire, she controls all. Merely remembering her image generates wisdom. With compassionate eyes, she gazes upon me. Please grant me power and accomplishment. O Ḍākiṇī of the Vajra family, Grant the accomplishment of Vajra Dharma. O Ḍākiṇī of the Ratna family, Grant the accomplishment of food, wealth, and enjoyment. O Ḍākiṇī of the Padma family, Grant the accomplishment of desire and control. O Ḍākiṇī of the Karma family, Grant the accomplishment of subduing enemies and obstacles. Please grant me the supreme accomplishment. Please grant the accomplishment of secret wisdom of space. Because she protects the command of the Great Compassionate One, she is called the Ḍākiṇī of the assembled families. Because she controls gods, demons, and humans, she is also called the Great Powerful Wisdom Ḍākiṇī. The opening of the secret treasury of the heart of Guru Padmasambhava, the practice of the blessings of the Ḍākiṇī, the secret practice of the Great Compassionate One, was taught by Guru Padmasambhava to Jo mo mkhar chen bza' mtsho rgyal and Lha sras khri srong lde'u btsan.
