Then, carefully bind it with a white thread, place it in the protective circle of the Essence of Dependent Origination, and imagine that they have no place to escape. Consecrate it with twenty-one Essences of Dependent Origination, and then wear it on your body. After freeing yourself from fear, untie the thread and hide it as before. Wash the image with fragrant water so that no trace remains. By such a method, even the harm of Yama (the Lord of Death) can be made to lose its effect and be pacified, let alone others.
