English
Visualize the three-faced, six-armed deity (Tibetan: ག་ཞལ་གསུམ་ཕྱག་དྲུག་སེམས་དཔའ་, meaning: three-faced, six-armed deity) together with the consort (Tibetan: ཡུམ་, meaning: consort). Bless the Ḍākinīs (Tibetan: མཁའ་གསང་, meaning: Ḍākinīs). From the point of union (Tibetan: སྦྱོར་མཚམས་, meaning: point of union), emanate the four wheels (Tibetan: འཁོར་བཞི་, meaning: four wheels). Draw the Bodhicitta (Tibetan: བྱང་སེམས་, meaning: Bodhicitta) upwards, and from the heart, emanate eight Hūṃ syllables (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable), and from the eight directions, emanate eight palaces, from which arise the eight auspicious symbols (Tibetan: དཔལ་བརྒྱད་, meaning: eight auspicious symbols). From each of their Ḍākinīs, emanate their respective four wheels. If the colors, hand implements, mudrās, and postures of the main deities (Tibetan: གཙོ་བོ་, meaning: main deities) are not known, then all the retinue (Tibetan: འཁོར་, meaning: retinue) should be visualized as dark blue, with one face and two arms, holding a vajra (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་, meaning: vajra) and a skull cup (Tibetan: ཐོད་ཁྲག, meaning: skull cup). The four wheels of the kīla (Tibetan: ཕུར་པ, meaning: kīla) hold a kīla and a skull cup. Visualize them as peaceful Vidyādharas (Tibetan: རིག་འཛིན་, meaning: Vidyādharas). All others should be visualized as wrathful, standing with one leg extended and one leg bent. It is said that this visualization is permissible. The other retinue (Tibetan: འཁོར་ཚོགས་, meaning: retinue) The other retinue should be visualized as spontaneously arising like the sun and its rays. When blessing the three vajras of body, speech, and mind (Tibetan: སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ་, meaning: three vajras of body, speech, and mind), the extensive practice is to visualize the three deities and syllables from the three seed syllables (Tibetan: འབྲུ་གསུམ་, meaning: seed syllables). The concise practice is to visualize the three seed syllables on the three hand implements, whichever is convenient. During the empowerment (Tibetan: དབང་བསྐུར་, meaning: empowerment), visualize the essence of the complete body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of all the Buddhas (Tibetan: སངས་རྒྱས་, meaning: Buddhas), the nature of the five kāyas (Tibetan: སྐུ་ལྔ་, meaning: five kāyas) and five wisdoms (Tibetan: ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྔ, meaning: five wisdoms), and at the five places on the heads of the deities, from the five hero syllables (Tibetan: དཔའ་བོ་འབྲུ་ལྔ, meaning: five hero syllables), emanate the five Buddha families (Tibetan: རྒྱལ་བ་རིགས་ལྔ, meaning: five Buddha families) with their consorts and complete ornaments, along with thrones, etc. In the retinue, there are forty-two peaceful deities (Tibetan: ཞི་བ་བཞི་བཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་, meaning: forty-two peaceful deities). Visualize bestowing great empowerment upon the deities and generating the courage to benefit beings. This is the foundation for practicing the peaceful deities from below, so it is important not to interrupt the focus. Then, the steps of invoking and absorbing the wisdom beings (Tibetan: ཡེ་ཤེས་པ་, meaning: wisdom beings), making offerings, praises, confessions, etc., and the root of the generation stage (Tibetan: བསྐྱེད་རིམ་, meaning: generation stage) – clarity, stability, purity, and recollection – are also important to learn in general. Second, practicing recitation and accomplishment internally is divided into three parts: general instructions on recitation targets, detailed distinctions of recitation practice, and additional explanations of the meaning of recitation practice. The first part is that in the recitation practice of the peaceful and wrathful deities, there are three types of recitation practice: temporary recitation practice that is consistent with the text, continuous recitation practice, and recitation practice for specific practices. The first is that in the hearts of the great deities, on the sun disc, there is a white and clear wisdom being holding a vajra bell (Tibetan: རྡོར་དྲིལ་, meaning: vajra bell), and in the center of the eight-cornered jewel in the heart is a vajra, and from the vajra to the center the size of a seed syllable is the Hūṃ syllable (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable), surrounded by a mantra (Tibetan: སྔགས, meaning: mantra). Due to the recitation, the mantra revolves clockwise, and the light shines upwards, revolving around the Āḥ syllable (Tibetan: ཨཱཾ, Devanagari: आं, Romanized Sanskrit: āṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable) on the tongue. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
