When Chula (place name) was in retreat on the mountaintop, the king asked the master, 'What do you fear?' The master replied, 'I fear sin, because I will not lightly disregard cause and effect and dependent origination.' The king misunderstood him, thinking he feared some sinful image like an insect. So, on a full moon night, as the sun rose, the master displayed countless miracles. The great master transformed into a wrathful Vajra, the sky filled with fiery iron hooks, and he strangled the neck of sin with his left hand and squeezed it, causing it to feel fear and dread, and to vomit blood. The embodiment of sin and its entourage prostrated to the master and offered the essence of their lives, promising not to harm practitioners in future generations. To ensure that future generations would not suffer any opposition or harm, Guru (Tibetan: གུ་རུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: Guru, Chinese literal meaning: Teacher) elaborated in detail the inner, outer, secret, and most secret practices of this wrathful deity, along with all its components. Consolidating these teachings with pure aspirations, Yeshe Tsogyal, the consort of Padmasambhava, hid these teachings as treasures in the cave of Khar-chu Phuk-ring. The great tertön (treasure revealer) Ratna Lingpa unearthed these treasures, and the lineage of empowerment, transmission, and oral instructions of these teachings has remained unbroken among the root gurus. As it is said: 'In the entire center and edges of Tibet, there are no more hidden than the five great treasures.' Among these five great treasures, this most supreme one, this essence of essences, is a treasure intended for a specific time. This practice of the wrathful deity is a unique treasure, the lifeblood of the treasures of Tibet.' Therefore, to open the door to the blessings of this extremely rare and sacred secret teaching, there are three types of empowerment ceremonies. Here, for those who dislike elaborate rituals, we prepare to bestow the four vase empowerments by relying on the torma (offering cake). Therefore, now is the time to engage in the practice. Offer the mandala (altar). To symbolize that you have not previously seen the mandala of true wisdom, cover your eyes. Bind with Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: Om, Chinese literal meaning: Om), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: Āḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Ah), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: Hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum). Join your palms together, holding flowers in your palms, and recite the following prayer together: ' ‘Kye! Vajradhara, King of Wrath! Great Self, please listen! Great one who possesses the ten freedoms! Please, protector, grant me!’ Repeat three times. The master asks: ‘Kye! Wisdom body of all Buddhas! Holder of the mind of all Buddhas! Do you have the fortune to enter the mandala of the wrathful master?’ In response, repeat the following: ‘Kye! In the mandala of the body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas throughout the ten directions! We have unwavering faith! Please allow us to enter and fully bestow upon us the four empowerments!’ ’ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Lama said: 'Just as it is said, not exceeding the three secrets, and not violating the vows properly, come, I will take you in.' In the mandala of the deity in front, visualize the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, as well as all sentient beings pervading the sky, all with the intention of taking refuge, and repeat after me: Namo (I take refuge)! Lama, Sugata, the embodiment of all, the nature of the Three Jewels, I and all sentient beings, until enlightenment, take refuge! (Repeat three times) Generate the supreme Bodhicitta, repeat after me: For the benefit of all sentient beings, to achieve the state of Lama Buddha, with various skillful means, I vow to liberate all sentient beings! (Repeat three times) Then, request to open the eyes, repeat after me: Teacher, skillful and compassionate, our eyes are ignorant and deluded, please open our eyes of wisdom with compassionate skillful means! (Repeat three times) The Vajra wipes away the eye veil, saying: 'I have the eye of wisdom, you have the eye of ignorance and delusion, with compassionate means, I will now open them for you.' Om Vajra Cakṣuḥ Praveśaya Phaṭ 'O fortunate sons of noble lineage, you are awakened from sleep, you have excellent fortune. Look at this mandala torma, this is the palace of Guru Drakpo (Wrathful Guru), with five wisdoms in all directions. The torma is a radiant jewel, inseparable from the body of the Wrathful One. Seeing these will bring accomplishment, not to mention complete empowerment.' The mandala and torma in front, on top of Mount Meru made of stacked elements, in the center of the charnel ground of the protective circle. The palace of the Wrathful One is in the center of the nine-spoked wheel. Maha Guru Dorje Drakpo (Great Guru Vajra Wrathful) is red-black, with flames, and Amitabha Buddha is visible on the crown of the heads of the Father and Mother. Below that is Garuda. Manjushri is on the forehead, Mahadeva is on the throat, a stupa and Vajrapani are in the heart, the five classes of Dakinis are in the navel, Yaksha Medawa is in the secret place, and the four classes of Wrathful Ones are in the four directions. On the eight spokes are the eight Dakini Fathers and Mothers, and in the four corners are Yamantaka, Krodhanaga, Kilaya, and Simhamukha. On the outer ten spokes are the ten Wrathful Ones, and at the four gates are the four gatekeepers. Visualize all these deities and retinues as if they are actually present before you, and generate great faith and joy. In order to establish the basis of empowerment, in order to invoke the wisdom deity, meditate in this way. Purification: From emptiness, manifest lotus, sun, moon, etc., as they appear in realization. Visualize yourselves as Guru Drakpo (Wrathful Guru), red-black, etc., adorned with six bone ornaments. In the heart of the Father is a wind wheel transformed from yaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体yam,梵文罗马拟音yam,风种子字). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
