If, after emerging from 'Shamatha' (寂静), one becomes dull, one should recite by guiding the 'horse' (རྟ་), which eliminates the fault of dullness, and because of the mastery of Samadhi and the winds, special qualities arise. If, after emerging from that (Shamatha), one becomes scattered, then one should combine the vase breath, which is preceded by the three purifications, and perform the Vajra recitation in which the wind and mantra are inseparable. Just as the meaning of 'harmonizing with the key points of the illusory body and the winds' indicates. Furthermore, during activity practices, visualize that the rays of light emanating from the garland of mantras at the heart radiate to all realms of sentient beings, and through whatever of the four activities is appropriate, the four types of taming are spontaneously accomplished. Contemplate gathering all the blessings of the body, speech, and mind of all the Buddhas and their retinues, and dissolving them into oneself. For peaceful activities, add at the end of the root mantra: For increasing activities, add: For magnetizing activities, add: For wrathful activities, add: (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal Chinese meaning:). Note: Recitation is a special instruction. Then, at the end of the session, visualize that the assembly of deities, which are visualized and propitiated in this way, although appearing as many, are co-emergent with oneself, and recite that the deity and oneself are inseparable, remaining in a state of non-duality, resting in the uncreated, spontaneously accomplished, primordial purity (ཀ་དག་) of space (ཀློང་). As it says, 'Release the state, rest in the uncreated, spontaneously accomplished, primordial purity of space.' Myself, the deity, and the mantra to be recited are all merely the nature of self-arisen mind and wisdom, without any clinging, resting in a state of effortless, vast expanse. Moreover, if it is a situation such as blessing a disciple, then this very ritual of accomplishing the mandala for the meaning of empowerment should be performed. Ninth, with joined palms, pray: 'Victorious Vajradhara (རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་), master of the four bodies, please consider me and other beings with compassion, and with the wisdom of the vase, secret, wisdom, and primordial wisdom itself, fill my being with the supreme wisdom.' Having prayed in this way, from the Om (ཨོཾ་) at the crown of the main deity of the assembly mandala, white light radiates and dissolves into one's own crown, receiving the vase empowerment, purifying the defilements of the body, having the authority to practice the generation stage, and becoming a vessel for attaining the Nirmanakaya (སྤྲུལ་སྐུ་). From the Ah (ཨཱཿ) at the throat, red light radiates and dissolves into one's own throat, receiving the secret empowerment, purifying the defilements of speech, having the authority to practice the channels and winds, and becoming a vessel for attaining the Sambhogakaya (ལོངས་སྐུ་). From the Hum (ཧཱུྃ་) at the heart, blue light radiates and dissolves into one's own heart, receiving the wisdom and knowledge empowerment, purifying the defilements of mind, having the authority to practice Thigle, and becoming a vessel for attaining the Dharmakaya (ཆོས་སྐུ་). Again, from the three places, white, red, and blue lights radiate. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, by dissolving into one's own three places (body, speech, and mind), the fourth empowerment is obtained. The defilements of wisdom are purified, one is qualified to practice the Great Perfection path, and one becomes a fortunate one to obtain the Body of Essence (Tibetan: ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ་). Thus it is said. From the mandala of the Vajra Three (body, speech, and mind) of the Gathered Lineages (Tibetan: རིགས་འདུས་), the fivefold light radiates and dissolves into my three doors (body, speech, and mind). All obscurations are purified, and the three bodies (Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, Nirmanakaya) are established in the continuum. All supreme and common siddhis are obtained. At the time of empowerment, following the wisdom three bodies that arise, one rests in equanimity in the nature of the great bliss that is supremely unchanging. Then, for a special purpose, if a tsok (gathering) is to be performed, at this time one can perform the tsok and fulfillment of the Three Roots, the All-Good Cloud of Offerings, as well as the glorious Four-Faced Great Black One (Tibetan: དཔལ་ནག་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞལ་བཞི་པ་) and the Lord of the Maras (Tibetan: བདུད་མགོན་), etc., the treasure protectors, and the local deities' (Tibetan: གཞི་བདག་) tormas (Tibetan: གཏོར་མ་), according to their respective rituals. Third, the subsequent activities include: urging the tsok wheel, proclaiming transgressions, beating the Dharma-protecting drum, taking siddhis, confessing faults, sending forth, making requests, dedicating merit, and adorning the end with auspicious words. Thus it is said. Among these, the first is: the implements of the tsok wheel, mainly consisting of madana (alcohol) and meat (Tibetan: མ་ད་ན་དང་ཤ་), are manifestly arranged. The Karma Vajra (Tibetan: ལས་ཀྱི་རྡོ་རྗེ) goes first, requesting the blessing of the tsok implements. The master sprinkles nectar (Tibetan: བདུད་རྩི), reciting: Om Sarva Drabyam Bishodhani Hum Phet (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སརྦ་དྲ་བྱཾ་བི་ཤོ་དྷ་ནི་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊཿ), generally purifying. Hum Ram Yam Kham (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་རྃ་ཡྃ་ཁྃ༔), from the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ) in one's own heart, Ram Yam Kham (Tibetan: རྃ་ཡྃ་ཁྃ་) emanates, burning, destroying, and purifying all impure grasping at reality, making it empty. From emptiness, visualize the tsok vessel as a lotus ablaze, the tsok substances as the five meats and five nectars, the nature of the great samaya of the five Buddha families, appearing as whatever desirable sense objects one wishes. Recite: Hum, Dharma-dhatu bhanydza five meats five nectars, food and drink etc. inexhaustible great treasure above, sun seat khatvanga three syllable light, with light attract essence, wisdom nectar, non-dual one taste, flawless nectar essence, pleasing the Victorious Ones, completely filling the Dharma-dhatu. Gana Chakra Jñana Amrita Om Ah Hum Ha Ho Hrih (Tibetan: ག་ཎ་ཙཀྲ་ཛྙཱ་ན་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏ་ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧ་ཧོ་ཧྲཱིཿ ས་), blessing it. With the sound of the hand drum and the light rays from the heart, urge the tsok assembly, awakening them into a mandala pervading space. Recite: Hum, arise Three Roots assembly of deities, together with vidyadhara dakini retinue, from invisible space move your body, come here take tsok offering, bless the sadhana substances, grant supreme and common siddhis. Om Guru (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་གུ་རུ)…… --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
