It also transforms into the very intention of enlightenment. In the context of instruction, it is permissible to explain only self-generation, but as a supplement, the method of front generation is mentioned slightly, which is the third focus of practice. Thus, combining the three focuses of practice of the Tsedrup (long life practice) instruction into one major practice constitutes the ninth focus of deity instruction in the generation stage. Instructions Related to the Generation Stage Next, special instructions related to the generation stage will be discussed. In the root text of the terma (treasure text), the methods of practicing the three yogas are systematically explained. The meaning of Maha, Anu, and Ati Yoga is established as symbols for generation, completion, and great completion stages. Here, it seems that completion and great completion are also explained as being related to the generation stage. The explicitly taught completion and great completion are indeed the instructions on Tummo (inner heat) and Kadag Lhundrup (primordial purity and spontaneous presence), which will be discussed later. What is being taught here as related to the generation stage is: practicing Anu Yoga through the method of the completion stage, and realizing Ati Yoga through the method of great completion; these are the two. Practicing Anu Yoga through the Method of the Completion Stage Firstly, there are three ways to transform it into the path: realizing the indivisibility of body and mandala, and merging into the realm of clear light yoga. The first of these is stated in the sixth chapter of the terma text 'Vajra Words Root Tantra': 'The completion stage of Anu Yoga is, to clarify samadhi in the four activities.' And in the practice of the three yogas, the supreme yoga: 'Remaining in the generation stage of oneself as Padmasambhava blazing with light, all forms are deity bodies, all sounds are secret mantras, all thoughts are the nature of reality, all places are celestial palaces, all companions are yidam dakinis, and all activities do not go beyond the great perfection of reality.' As explained during the actual practice of the deity instruction in the generation stage, one should become accustomed to clearly and stably visualizing the body of Guru Padmasambhava for a long time. Based on this, mental peace will be achieved to some extent. The spontaneous appearance of the deity's body is in accordance with the yoga of this path. Applying this method to the path involves three practices: seeing all visible forms as illusory, as the nature of Guru Padmasambhava's body; hearing all sounds as the indestructible sound of Vajra Guru; and all thoughts and mental activities as self-aware, self-illuminating, and free from conceptual elaboration, the nature of reality. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, recognizing the radiance of one's own being, cultivating such devotion as a path, inseparable from self-arising awareness, practicing continuously like a flowing river. This reverses impure clinging to reality, purifies the obscurations of body, speech, and mind, and perfects the accumulation of merit and wisdom. The place where one dwells becomes a celestial palace, the companion is the deity, and whatever actions one performs transform into the play of the Dharma nature, possessing immeasurable benefits. This is the first session of practice. Furthermore, exerting effort to settle the mind as much as possible on the three modes of practice, contemplating the inseparable nature of the deity's body and the mandala. As the Vajra words of the treasure text state: 'The radiance of one's own being pervades all realms; all the qualities of the realms are inherently present in the indivisible appearance and emptiness of one's own body; the size and form of the body are made to be unfixed.' Practicing according to these instructions: one's own three places are the nature of the three vajras of body, speech, and mind. Light radiates from the three syllables (seed syllables), filling the inside of the body. From the body, five-colored light naturally pervades all realms, and light and realms are primordially inseparable, not moving from the spontaneously pure union of Dharmadhatu. All the splendor and qualities of all realms are inseparable from the essence of one's own luminous, stainless body—the vajra body—inherently abiding in the nature of co-emergent great bliss. Recognizing and ascertaining that one is inherently the possessor of unlimited size and all aspects of the body's form, and striving to remain in that state. At the same time, one should also be diligent in recitation. As the Vajra words of the treasure text state: 'At this time, one should be diligent in the recitation of breath and mind.' Therefore, relying on the three ways of exhaling, inhaling, and holding the breath, as well as the practice of filling and emptying the subtle breath, and the practice of the forceful breath as vase breath, performing the vajra recitation of the three syllables or the root mantra. Alternatively, allowing the breath to flow naturally, keeping the mind unscattered, and remaining in the self-arising vajra sound mantra is also very important. Therefore, these two should be combined and practiced together. This is the second session of practice. Gathering the luminosity into the expanse of yoga: As the Vajra words of the treasure text state: 'The completion stage with elaboration also dissolves gradually from head to toe, cultivating the experience of one's own mind and space being indivisible, vast, and expansive.' This directly indicates the essential instructions of the luminosity practice. 'Again, like a fish leaping from the water, cultivate the indivisibility of appearance and emptiness.' This reveals the fruit of the accomplishment of luminosity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
