The life and prosperity of all sentient beings in the three realms, especially the essence of life arising from the compassion of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and other noble beings, are gathered in the form of light, Vajra hooks, ropes, vases, and skull cups. These form deep threads of life essence light, appearing in white, yellow, red, green, and blue colors, as well as five colors of nectar and the forms of the seed syllables (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Meaning: Hrih), (Tibetan: ནྲྀཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: नृः, Sanskrit Romanization: nṛḥ, Literal Meaning: Nrih), (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Meaning: Ah), entering through one's own brow and sense faculties. They dissolve into the seed syllable (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Meaning: Hrih) at the heart and the root seed of life, merging like water into water, thereby accomplishing the deathless Vajra body and attaining the actual Vidyadhara (knowledge holder). One should contemplate in this way and strive to recite as much as possible. This is the fundamental visualization of self-generation, the first session of practice. Furthermore, sometimes visualize the five places of Padma Odbar (Lotus of Blazing Light), each with five implements and five syllables: a white wheel at the crown of the head, marked with the syllable (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Meaning: Om); a red lotus at the throat, marked with the syllable (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Meaning: Ah); a Vajra at the heart, marked with the syllable (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Meaning: Hum); a jewel at the navel, marked with the syllable (Tibetan: སྭཱ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वा, Sanskrit Romanization: svā, Literal Meaning: Sva); and a multi-colored Vajra at the secret place, marked with the syllable (Tibetan: ཧཱ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हा, Sanskrit Romanization: hā, Literal Meaning: Ha). From these, emanate countless rays of light filling the expanse of the sky, and immeasurable hosts of messengers holding iron hooks, ropes, chains, and bells. The essence of the five elements is gathered. From the hands of powerful beings who control life, such as the guardians of the directions, life is summoned. From the Vidyadharas and Rishis (sages) of gods, nagas, and humans, and from those who have attained mastery over life, the prosperity of deathless accomplishment is summoned. All the blessings and powers arising from the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and disciples are gathered. The light, white and shimmering, oily and cohesive, descends from the crown of the head of oneself and the object of visualization, such as the guru, Dharma brothers and sisters, and parents, filling the body with nectar like a vessel filled with yogurt, resulting in a deathless Vajra-like body filled with uncontaminated bliss. Contemplate the body as being as solid as a Vajra diamond, with each pore filled with half a Vajra, and recite as much as possible. This is the second session of practice. This is from the treasure text, the Vajra words, where the secret meaning is: 'Padma Tsepakme (Amitayus), with five implements and five syllables in five places, countless rays of light emanate to fill the sky.' Here, the meaning of this passage is slightly clarified. Other more extensive visualizations, such as gathering and dissolving the essences of earth, water, fire, wind, and space during the vase empowerment, according to the words of the Vajra speech, and gathering and dissolving the life essences of the inner and outer worlds separately, are the same as in the common rituals, and therefore are not elaborated here. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In short, the essential practice is summarized in what has been said above. During the post-session breaks, visualize yourself as a five-pronged vajra and then rest in the state of aimless, primordial purity, which is itself a special feature. Next is the sequence of generating the front visualization: It is said that one can practice longevity based on the sun, moon, and stars; one can practice longevity based on the constant and unchanging snow mountains; similarly, one can practice longevity based on towering mountains, solid rocks, and turquoise lakes that never dry up. Visualize all of these clearly in front of you as you would your self-generation deity, and contemplate receiving the accomplishment of your own lifespan through the means of radiating and gathering light. Then, recite the mantra. This method is very important and has great blessings and power, so you should strive to practice it in sequence. Furthermore, it is said that one can also rely on a vase, torma, longevity pills, and longevity wine to practice. However, the main practice is based on the vase, which is clearly explained in the context of the arrangement and visualization sequence. Therefore, on an auspicious astrological day, set up a vase adorned with auspicious symbols, filled two-thirds with water and vase substances. The sequence of visualization is as stated in the treasure text 'Vajra Words': 'The light rays of myself and the front visualization radiate and gather, and all outer vessels and inner contents are clear as the splendor of deities and mantras. From this, the blessings of longevity of all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, the Three Roots, and Dharma Protectors; the essence of all elemental essences; and the compassion and blessings of all sages, vidyadharas, and those who have power over longevity; in short, all the lifespan and merit of sentient beings who are fortunate, perform white virtuous deeds, have great power, strong abilities, many retinues, great qualities, strength, and fame, and are capable of taming disciples, all swirl in the form of the letter नृः (Tibetan: ནྲྀཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: नृः, Sanskrit Romanization: nṛḥ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) of various colors within the vase.' As mentioned above, the phrase 'myself and the front' means that one should visualize both the self-generation deity and Guru above the vase water in front. In the left skull cup of both, visualize the vase filled with immortal nectar, in the center of which the नृः (Tibetan: ནྲྀཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: नृः, Sanskrit Romanization: nṛḥ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) swirls and shines. If it is for oneself, then during the session breaks, dissolve it into one's own heart; if it is for others, then dissolve it into the object of focus, or make it inseparable from the vase water, and then bestow the longevity empowerment. This method is also as stated in the treasure text 'Vajra Words': 'The outer is the vase filled with nectar, the secret meaning is Amitayus in the lotus.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
