If this is done without interruption, then one will definitely attain the above-mentioned qualities. Even if the practice of the mandala is related to other practices, if it is accomplished in this way, it will become the supreme method of urging the lineage of the Yidam (Deity), and it is the unsurpassed gateway to quickly attain Siddhi (accomplishment). Furthermore, regarding this outer practice, two methods of approach are mentioned in the commentary on the Tantra. As it says: 'This has no measure of approach. In each session, recite as much as possible with song and melody. It is merely named outer practice, but in reality, it is the descent of blessing.' Therefore, one method is to not fix the number of recitations, but to cultivate as much as possible between sessions. Also, in the same text, it says: 'One should make offerings, praises, and recitations to oneself, and that is the practice.' Therefore, it seems that there is also a view of fixing the order of Japa (recitation). If that is the case, then the meaning of the former view is as explained above, and the meaning of the latter is that after having gathered the blessings of body, speech, and mind as mentioned above, with a firm recognition that the essence of the collective glory is the nature of oneself, in which the entire mandala of the Victorious Ones is gathered into one without remainder, one should make offerings and praises as they appear in the text. Then, again, while clearly visualizing the descent of the blessings of body, speech, and mind as mentioned above, one should recite the mantra of Thödphreng Tsal (Skull Garland Power) as much as possible. That is: From the root Tantra, the Vajra Words of the Four Activities Accomplishment: 'Oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma thöd phreng tsal vajra samaya jaḥ siddhi phala hūṃ āḥ (嗡啊吽 班匝咕噜贝玛托创匝 班匝萨玛雅匝 悉地帕拉吽啊,嗡 阿 吽 瓦吉拉 咕噜 贝玛 托创匝 瓦吉拉 萨玛雅 匝 悉地 帕拉 吽 阿,Om Ah Hum, Vajra Guru Padmasambhava Skull Garland Power, Vajra Samaya, Descend, Accomplishment, Bestow, Hum Ah)'. This will cause the appearance of existence to tremble, gather the Buddhas of the three times into one, be inseparable from all the Lamas, cause the arrogant spirits to faint and tremble, gather the Dakinis and Dharma Protectors like clouds, and all the heroes and heroines will appear before you without control, bestowing supreme and common Siddhis. If there is no sign of accomplishment after accomplishing this, then Padmasambhava (Lotus Born) has deceived sentient beings. Therefore, future fortunate sons, hold it in your heart, Samaya!' Also, from the revealed treasure of Guru Chöwang (Guru of Dharma Power), the Guru Sadhana Secret Assembly: 'Sometimes the form of Thödphreng Tsal, like rain falling to fill the sky, dissolves into the crown of the practitioner. The body of light without flesh, contemplate as the form of Padmasambhava. At that time, generate great pride, the essence of life, Thödphreng Tsal, like water flowing from the face of a rock, fiercely and without interruption, causes me (Padmasambhava) to come involuntarily.' Also, the mantra of the Heart Essence Gathering of the Sugatas: 'Is the essence practice of the gathering of all the Buddhas, the fifteen Bhumis (grounds) and five paths, I attain by practicing the recitation of Thödphreng, the Buddhas of the three times...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All of these are equivalent to reading all the scriptures. Because of the certainty of its meaning, great blessings will be received. This is the fourth point of contemplation in the main generation stage. During the quick path guidance, one can take advantage of three days, or until the guidance is not completed, to practice as much as possible in the session breaks each day. When starting to practice properly, first recite the Vajra Guru mantra one million, three million, or seven million times, etc. Doing so will bring greater benefits, and there will be no fault of excessive rituals. This is my personal understanding. Therefore, in terms of outer practice, the treasure text clearly elucidates the practice of the four activities with Vajra words. Among them, this profound essence is 'low in tone, swaying and reciting during session breaks when appropriate.' As mentioned above, the benefits of the Vajra Guru mantra have been explained. In the practice of Mahāyoga, 'Especially, if one continuously recites and invokes this essence, six sessions a day without interruption, the nature of Padmasambhava will descend, flickering with light indeterminately, the sound of self-arisen mantras will resonate, and the good experience of self-nature purity will effortlessly arise.' And, in the heart's commitment, 'Six or three sessions a day, or at least at sunrise, do not stop invoking and reciting.' He emphasizes this greatly. From the activity manual, it can be seen that it includes the Seven Line Prayer and the Vajra Guru mantra. However, since the text has already explained what to do during the practice sessions and how to maintain daily practice, the commentary does not elaborate in detail, which is consistent with the view here. In general, the ways of practicing outer, inner, secret, and suchness seem to be implied by the Vajra words of the treasure text. As the immaculate oral instructions personally imparted by Guru Padmasambhava and Mandāravā to the great Vidyādhara Jātsön Nyingpo, in the commentary of the tantra, these essential points are very clearly elucidated in the chapter on the stages of the path. Inner Practice The second is the inner practice: Visualize oneself as the Padmasambhava of Blazing Light, like the outer practice visualization, perform the invocation, etc., and if desired, also make offerings and praises. In any case, be sure to clearly and firmly visualize the deity's form as described above. Then, the Samādhi of generating the wheel of wisdom mantras: In one's heart, visualize an eight-petaled heart chakra, transforming into a white eight-petaled lotus, in the pistil of the --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
