One can practice the stages of Samadhi. Purify the mental obscurations; whatever arises in the mind is liberated upon arising, remembering the Dharmata (nature of reality), sealing the unborn essence of the heart; the extent of realization dawns as Dharmata; the result is the attainment of Dharmakaya (the body of truth). Descend to the navel; generate the faith of receiving the speech empowerment of Rinpoche (precious one). Thus, placing the Torma (ritual cake) and other empowerment substances sequentially on the crown of the head, one receives the vase empowerment. Placing them on the throat, one receives the secret empowerment. Placing them on the heart, knowing that the Lama (spiritual teacher) and one's own mind are inseparable, is the wisdom of Prajna (wisdom). Afterwards, recognizing and abiding in the experience of mental bliss, clarity, and non-thought, is understanding the meaning of the empowerment of Suchness. Place the Torma and the eastern Padmasambhava (Lotus-Born) images in the three places (crown, throat, heart), and recite: Om, please bless the body, please generate radiance in the body, please purify the obscurations of the body, please bestow the deity empowerment upon the body, grant the unchanging life-siddhi of the body. Ah, please bless the speech, please purify the obscurations of speech, please bestow the mantra empowerment upon the speech, grant the transmission-siddhi of the essence of speech, please unleash the power of speech. Hum, please bless the mind, please purify the obscurations of the mind, grant the unborn Vajra (diamond) siddhi of the mind, please generate realization in the mind, bless the body, speech, and mind, bestow the empowerment of the five wisdoms, bless this lineage child, may the four empowerments be fully attained. Recite thus and the root mantra. Therefore, one will understand the meaning of existence and non-existence, and experiences will arise in Thögal (leap over). Place the vase, skull garland, Tötreng Tsal (Skull Garland Power), and Hayagriva (Horse-Necked One) and Vajravarahi (Diamond Sow) images in the three places (crown, throat, heart), Child of the lineage, realize the meaning of empowerment. Om, the vase is within the indivisible sphere, in the water of unborn Bodhicitta (awakened mind), wash away the impurities of discursive thought and ignorance, Dharmakaya is in the water of indivisible great bliss, wash away the habitual tendencies of grasping and clinging to Samsara (cyclic existence), self-arisen Jnana (wisdom) is in the water of mind essence, wash away the five poisons and three poisons into the sphere, may all afflictive habitual tendencies be purified, may the Vajra Skull Garland Father-Mother empowerment, the four complete wisdoms be attained. Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Tötreng Tsal Samaya Jah Ha Ri Ni Sa Ra Tsa Hrih Ya Vajra Ayuh Siddhi Hum Abhisinca Om Ah Hum Hrih. Bathe with the water and pour it into the mouth. Therefore, one will attain the supreme and common Siddhis (accomplishments). Place the southeastern Bhanda (vessel) and Padmasambhava images in the three places (crown, throat, heart), Ah, the skull cup is complete in the nature of Dharmadhatu (realm of reality), the immortal wisdom --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
