Will reach the state of fruition. As it is widely known in the 'Five Stages Bell Doctrine': The vase initiation is placed in the third position, and the secret initiation in the fourth, but here, the order of these two is reversed because the path connection of the three supreme initiations is arranged, and it is taken as being led gradually. In the treatises of the great accomplished ones, it is said that step by step, the ultimate fruit is achieved, so there is a distinction between sharp, medium, and dull faculties, which are transformed into three: sudden, direct, and gradual. Therefore, the gradual and this are the same. Third, regarding the essential points of meditation, there are five stages: self-blessing, various vajras, Jalandhara, vase initiation, and inconceivable yoga. First, self-blessing is divided into three: formless yoga, with-form yoga, and how experiences arise from it. First is the formless yoga: 'For the yogi with sharp faculties, straighten the body on a comfortable seat, purify the mindstream through the preliminary stages, the guru's mind and one's own mind, inseparably abide in the unadulterated, natural state, whatever arises as the appearance of the six aggregates, beyond acceptance and rejection, cultivate the non-conceptual, natural radiance.' This means that in the five stages of completion, the first stage, the samadhi of self-blessing, is: for those yogis with sharp faculties who have previous practice, the method is to sit on a comfortable seat and straighten the body posture in a common way. Purify the mindstream through the preliminary stages such as refuge, bodhicitta, and guru yoga. The main practice is to mix the guru's mind and one's own mind inseparably, without adulterating it with artificiality, and abide in the natural, primordial, vast, and expansive state. At that time, whatever various appearances of the six aggregates, such as forms, appear to the eye, do not allow even a moment of attachment or aversion, such as liking or disliking, to arise, and cultivate the non-conceptual, natural radiance of dharmata, which is beyond all acceptance and rejection. Second is the with-form yoga: 'For those with medium and dull faculties, if they cannot abide in that state, then visualize oneself as the lotus vajra parents, in the clear and pure, unadulterated heart, on a moon disc, a red and white Tibetan letter 'ཨཾ' (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Devanagari: अं, Roman transliteration: aṃ, literal meaning: seed syllable), visualize it marked by an indestructible bindu, this is the 'tilaka' (Sanskrit: tilaka, literal meaning: auspicious mark) of emptiness and clarity united, focus the mind one-pointedly on this, and abide without distraction. When the consciousness transfers from the eye faculty to the object, when the eye consciousness is operating, visualize a white bindu appearing there. Similarly, visualize a black bindu in the ear faculty, a yellow bindu in the nose faculty, a red bindu in the tongue and genital area, and a green bindu in the vajra path, and focus on this.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rest in non-thought. Ultimately, the six consciousnesses' sensory objects, relax in a state of non-separation and non-effort. Through the practice of vase breathing, bind the air and mind firmly in the bindu. For individuals of middling or dull faculties, if they cannot maintain the mind in its natural state through formless meditation, they should cultivate yoga with form to hold their mind. First, after the preliminary practices as before, visualize oneself as the clear and pure form of Padma Vajra (Lotus Vajra) as a single father, without any impurities. At his heart, on a moon seat, visualize the letter “ཨཾ” (Tibetan, अं, Devanagari, aṃ, Romanized Sanskrit, seed syllable, essence) in red color, containing a red and white indestructible bindu the size of a mustard seed. Contemplate this bindu as the union of emptiness and clarity, non-dual, and focus the mind single-pointedly on it, remaining without distraction. In each session, alternate between visualization and mind-holding to gain stability. Although in most teachings of the Five-Stage Bell Method (Dril Bu Rim Nga, Bell Method: an advanced practice in the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism), only the meditation on the red and white bindu is mentioned, here it is emphasized that the “ཨཾ” (Tibetan, अं, Devanagari, aṃ, Romanized Sanskrit, seed syllable, essence) letter, symbolizing the indestructible life force, contains the red and white bindu, symbolizing the object of meditation. By meditating on these two, a special interdependent connection is established to bind both air and mind. Then, combine and meditate on the consciousnesses of the five senses as they move and flow to their respective objects: when visual consciousness arises in dependence on form, visualize a white bindu at the location of the eye for a moment, hold the mind on it, and ultimately rest in a state of non-thought. Similarly, when auditory consciousness arises, visualize black bindus in both ears; when olfactory consciousness arises, visualize yellow bindus in both nostrils; when gustatory consciousness arises, visualize a red bindu at the root of the tongue; when tactile consciousness arises, visualize a green bindu at the vajra place (genitals). Hold the mind on these bindus and rest in non-thought as before. At any time, ultimately, all three—the six consciousnesses' faculties, consciousnesses, and object appearances—are known to be inherently empty and inseparable, so relax and rest in a state of non-effort. Hold the four-fold vase breathing, and bind all movements of air and mind firmly and immutably in the realm of the indestructible bindu. Third, how experiences arise from the above practice: ‘Through such single-pointed practice, the mind's grasping and clinging thoughts are pacified, the six supernormal powers are attained, and the wisdom of the union of appearance and awareness as emptiness arises in one's own mindstream.’ Thus, through the stages of the guru's blessings, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
