Residing within the expanse of blazing fire. The five principal deities gaze outward at the wheel of directions. The retinue gazes inward at the principal deity, with a network of light blazing like a rainbow, surrounded by a ring of fire from the gatekeepers, and a great mass of radiant light swirling all around. Beyond all of that, countless desire realm goddesses shower great rains of offering clouds and praise with auspicious melodies. Outside the mandala offering, in the eight charnel grounds of the directions, are eight masters, eight trees, eight clouds, eight fires, eight waters, eight gods, eight nāgas, eight stupas, and so forth. The terrifying corpses and jackals of the charnel grounds appear like rainbows in the sky, and in that natureless mandala, a vast and boundless expanse of sky is visualized. Inviting and bestowing blessings from the Dharmadhatu. Inviting and bestowing blessings from the Dharmadhatu, including: requesting to arise, inviting, bestowing blessings, and the mudra of homage. First, requesting the manifestation of great compassion from the Dharmadhatu: Hūṃ! The spontaneously accomplished nature, the lama Dharmakaya, the realm of the uncreated great bliss Dharmakaya, from the secret bhaga of Samantabhadrī, may Samantabhadra Vajra arise as the great bliss. Although the essence does not move from the Dharmakaya, it is the spontaneously accomplished great clear light body. Please consider with the great compassion of the past, and arise as an illusory body from the nature of reality! Oṃ dharmadhātu vajrajñāna samaye hoḥ, samaya stvaṃ, jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ. By reciting this, contemplate that they arise from the Dharmakaya realm and promise to come. Inviting: With the sound of incense and music. Hūṃ! From the nature of the Dharmakaya, free from elaboration, manifesting in form to benefit beings, I request the great Samantabhadra Vajrasattva, the five Buddha families, father and mother, and so forth, to come. Hūṃ! I request the complete gathering of all Sugatas, the great glorious Heruka Skull Garland Power, the four principal deities and the eight self-arisen Sugatas, the sixteen Vidyadharas, the wisdom dakinis and Kiṃnaras, and all the oath-bound protectors, the ocean of beings, to come. Hūṃ! From the sacred places of the eight charnel grounds, I request the eight accomplished masters who realized the meaning of the Eight Commands of the Kagyü (bka' brgyad), and the Dharma kings who have dominion over the supreme vehicle, along with the clouds of dakinis, to come. Hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ! In the first kalpa, the name of the place was Oḍḍiyāna... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
