Invite all the retinue, dissolve into the speech, purify all speech obscurations and faults, and obtain all speech accomplishments. A stream of red nectar descends, filling the body, receiving the secret empowerment. The Five Buddha Families bestow empowerment, merging with the remaining water. Visualize a red eight-petaled lotus in the throat, marked with the syllable “ཨཱཿ” (Tibetan), “आः” (Sanskrit Devanagari), “Āḥ” (Sanskrit Romanization), ‘Ah’ (Literal Chinese meaning). Emaho! Wondrous and amazing empowerment! Being one with all the Lamas, inseparable from the Yidam deity, and blessed by the Dakinis. By bestowing empowerment with the samaya substance Torma, through the blessings of the Three Roots, the blessings of speech enter the speech, purifying speech obscurations, may you receive the empowerment of the pith instructions! Recite: Oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru deva ḍākinī vāka baliṃta abhiṣiñca āḥ āḥ āḥ. Place the Torma at the heart center, from the heart of the deity, light radiates from the syllable “ཧཱུྃ” (Tibetan), “हुं” (Sanskrit Devanagari), “Hūṃ” (Sanskrit Romanization), ‘Hum’ (Literal Chinese meaning), inviting all the heart mandalas of all the Buddhas of the ten directions, dissolving into the student's mind, purifying all mental sins and faults, receiving the mind empowerment.

The power of awareness is the meaning of freedom. Clear and transparent, like the autumn sky. The sole Dharmakaya is the meaning of freedom. This is inherent. Because it is the Buddha of Ye, one should rest in the recognition of one's own nature and not seek elsewhere. As it is said in Illusion: From wherever, in the four times and ten directions, a perfect Buddha will not be found. Mind itself is the perfect Buddha, do not seek a Buddha from elsewhere. Even if you seek, you will not find the Victorious One. So it is. Within this state, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana, whatever appears, seem like the three phases of arising, dwelling, and ceasing, but in reality, there is no arising, dwelling, or ceasing. This is the power of awareness. As it is said in Illusion: Ema, wondrous and amazing is the Dharma! The secret of all perfect Buddhas. From the unborn, all arises, but in the arising itself, there is no arising. Ema, wondrous and amazing! The secret of all perfect Buddhas. From the unceasing, all ceases, but in the ceasing itself, there is no ceasing. Ema, wondrous and amazing! The secret of all perfect Buddhas. From the non-abiding, all abides, but in the abiding itself, there is no abiding. Ema, wondrous and amazing! The secret of all perfect Buddhas. From the non-going and non-coming, going and coming arise, but in the going and coming itself, there is no going and coming. Thus, it is decided. Thus, the first three freedoms are the stages of appearance with means, the stage of generation, contemplating the meaning of the illusory form body, and having power over practice. The fourth freedom is the stage of non-appearance wisdom, the stage of completion, contemplating like the sky, and having power to make the cause for obtaining the sacred Dharmakaya, therefore it is called freedom. This is also shown by symbolizing it with the burning precious torma. In the case of the first three freedoms, the torma is understood as the deity and palace, and it only serves the meaning of bestowing the empowerment of the appearance with the stage of generation. In the case of the fourth freedom, the torma is understood as a symbol, and the empowerment of the non-appearance of the stage of completion is purely bestowed. Also, from the three bases, paths, and fruits, look to the burning jewel that symbolizes the base of the abiding nature. If one realizes this mind itself, Buddhahood arises, and if one does not realize it, samsara arises, but in the base, there is no distinction between good and bad, so it abides in the great spontaneously perfect emptiness and clarity. From the Vast Expanse: Mind itself is a precious jewel, the basis from which all samsara and nirvana arise. So it is. The path, the burning jewel that symbolizes the appearance of mind itself in various ways. All phenomena are merely appearances of the way mind itself manifests as a precious jewel. From the Six Realms: Mind itself is a precious jewel, according to the appearance of how it is viewed, free from the imputation of whether there is a basis for delusion or not.
