As the meaning of 'Meditate on the Guru in the Heart', visualize Guru Padmasambhava Vajrasattva, dark blue in color, bright and radiant. Yum Tso gyal Vajra Snyems ma, red in color, bright and radiant, in union, peaceful and slightly wrathful, joyful, naked and unadorned, clear and bright, this is the Wisdom Sattva. In his heart center, there is the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable, destroyer), blue in color, extremely radiant, this is the Samadhi Sattva. Around it is a garland of mantras. Visualize this, and focus completely on supreme accomplishment, with a mind that possesses the meaning of mantra, recite the mantra of your own vow's Root Three, or any desired deity. Or, recite the Vajrasattva Hundred Syllable Mantra, and the Six Syllable Mantra, be sure to be focused and diligent. Recite 'Oṃ Vajrasattva Hūṃ' (ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཧཱུྃ,oṃ vajrasattva hūṃ,ॐ वज्रसत्त्व हूँ,oṃ vajrasattva hūṃ,Vajrasattva Hūṃ), until the end of the set time, number, and signs. Repeat with outer, inner, and secret recitation methods, as you prefer. In particular, remember the deity's form and its true nature, and abide in it. Or, recite the mantra of the Adhisthana deity, or 'Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ' (ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ,oṃ āḥ hūṃ,ॐ आः हूँ,oṃ āḥ hūṃ,body, speech, and mind), with the Vajra recitation of the three syllables combined, purify the channels, winds, and bindus, in the Vajra Supreme, you should be extremely diligent, diligent and without laziness. Then, perform the great accomplishment of the profound secret yoga: In the end, the Guru's body is the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable, destroyer). Blue, bright and radiant, shining with the light of wisdom. Appearances, outer and inner, self and other, boundaries and center, realms, are all unattainable, awareness and names, clear emptiness, without distinction. Thus, transform the Guru into the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable, destroyer) in the heart, focus on awareness, without clinging, in a vast, relaxed state, make the sound 'Hū-re', sing the song of the syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable, destroyer). Then, the fourth step, transform deluded appearances into wisdom. As the tantra says: 'Actions and the Guru, abide in self-manifestation'. Thus, in the natural yoga, the Guru and self-awareness are inseparable, practice the meaning of Trekchö and Tögal. Afterwards, the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,हूँ,hūṃ,seed syllable, destroyer) itself, transforms into a blue dot, shining with five lights. Radiating light, one's own body dissolves into a mass of light. The Guru's mind, is the wisdom realm of self-awareness. From the beginning, there is no separation, the co-emergent great bliss of the Dharmadhatu. The essence is the originally pure emptiness, clear and empty. The nature is the spontaneously accomplished luminosity, bright and clear. Compassion is non-dual awareness, vivid and lively. Self-born, free from the limits of elaboration, Samantabhadra. The nature of the Dharmakaya, the confidence of realizing original liberation. Without dependence, beyond thought, the Great Perfection that is naturally so. Beyond goals, attachments, and mental fabrications. Abide in the natural state, awareness is transparent. Self-manifesting purity, the secret path palace of Vajrasattva. In the pure light realm of the Dharmadhatu. The nature of wisdom, in the center of the bindu mandala. Inexpressible wisdom, the true body of self-awareness. Appearances without attachment, the Vajra chain of illusion. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Furthermore, in the view of aimless manifestation, in the liberation without meditation, in the meaning of self-awareness becoming familiar, in the vast conduct of the Lama's intention, remain without distraction. Thus, the Lama's mind and self-awareness are inseparable, the wisdom of emptiness arising naturally, the great transcendence beyond speech and thought, the manifestation of awareness's radiance, remain equally in the unborn and unceasing. Practice by reciting 'ཨཿཨཿཤཿསཿམཿཧཿ (Tibetan); अ आः श स म ह (Sanskrit Devanagari); a ah sha sa ma ha (Sanskrit Romanization); Ah Ah Sha Sa Ma Ha (Literal Chinese meaning)', restrain the three ropes of distinction, selection, and inclusion, without falling into the place of loss or deviation from the meaning of the abiding nature. Unstained by thoughts and considerations, unbound by awareness, unadulterated by fabrication, uncorrected by pretense. The characteristic of equipoise is clear and lucid, constantly maintaining the state of subtle non-thought, thereby the original nature of all phenomena is devoid of all extremes of elaboration. Establishing the Dharmakaya of all Buddhas, the essence of self-luminous great bliss, this is the essence of all sacred Dharma doors, therefore, one should strive to practice. Thereafter, the sequence of subsequent attainment is: all appearances transcend grasping and clinging, the body of the Lama; all sounds are completely free from attachment and clinging, the speech of the Lama; all thoughts transcend the mind, awareness is liberated, the mind of the Lama. Always abiding in the inseparable, equal realm. Thus, knowing all phenomena to be the play of the Lama's body, speech, and mind, transform all thoughts, afflictions, demons, sufferings, illnesses, and death into emptiness, clarity, and illusion, carrying them onto the path in equanimity. Recite 'ཕཊ་ཕཊ་ཕཊ (Tibetan); फट् फट् फट् (Sanskrit Devanagari); phat phat phat (Sanskrit Romanization); Phat Phat Phat (Literal Chinese meaning)'. Again, Glorious Root Lama, Precious One, in the realm of the actual Akanishta within my heart, inseparable from the Dharmakaya of self-awareness, constantly abide and bestow your blessings. May I and all beings be cared for by the holy Lama in all lives, may faith, respect, and supreme samaya be firm, may mind and wisdom merge as one, may the qualities of the paths and bhumis be perfected, may we attain perfect Buddhahood in this very lifetime. May delusion be exhausted, may obscurations be exhausted, may mind be exhausted, may all phenomena be exhausted, may we pass into the vase body of Kunsang Zhonnu. May the arising of death and bardo, through recollection and direct knowledge, dissolve into the luminosity of the Dharmadhatu through the eight stages of dissolution. May we not enter the womb of the six realms of samsara, may we be born in the pure lands of the four castes, may we attain enlightenment. May the Dharmakaya for self-benefit and the Rupakaya for the benefit of others, guide all beings through inconceivable means. Thus, recite all kinds of excellent aspiration prayers, and in all activities, never stray from the devotion and faith in the root Lama and the protection of samaya vows, always distinguishing between cause and effect, and always act with compassion and love for the benefit of beings. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
