Homage to the Bhagavan (Tibetan, meaning: Blessed One)! Respectful homage to Akshobhya (Tibetan: མི་འཁྲུགས་རྒྱལ་པོ།, meaning: the Unmoving King)! Please purify my continuum! In order to practice the sadhana of Bhagavan Akshobhya, who is particularly praised for purifying karmic obscurations, I take refuge: Namo! I take refuge in the Guru, Vidyadhara, and Yidam deity! I take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the Three Jewels! I take refuge in the Heroes, Dakis, and Dakinis! I respectfully take refuge! Generating the Mind of Enlightenment: For the benefit of all beings, I will practice Akshobhya. Having benefited beings through the four activities, May I attain the three Kayas! The Yoga of Generation and Recitation: From the nature of emptiness and compassion, On a lotus and moon cushion, From my own awareness, the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) transforms into the Bhagavan Akshobhya, Whose body is blue, Complete with all the ornaments of the Sambhogakaya. With two legs in the vajra posture, The right hand in the earth-touching mudra, The left hand in the meditation mudra, holding a vajra (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ།, meaning: diamond). Radiating light and rays.
