If beings are afflicted by disease, won't you heal them with skillful means and compassionate medicine? If the ripening of karma blazes like a fire, won't you shower the cool rain of compassion? If they are sinking in the mud of suffering samsara, won't you draw them out with skillful means and the hook of compassion? Wandering in the realms of the three realms of samsara, when will one attain the fruit of self-awareness? At the time of enlightenment, the compassion of the noble ones will have no further needs. If I am bound by the power of my own karma, what then? To whom shall I speak of your great compassion? Warrior, you possess the power of compassion, and if the karmic connections of the past are strong, Please do not be indifferent or lazy, but look upon me from the depths of your heart, victorious deity of compassion. Please draw me from the mud of samsara and quickly lead me to the supreme state of the three kayas. This is the confession of speech. The third is the confession of mind: Confessing pure and impure thoughts into the equal and vast primordial purity. ཨཱཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah)! In the non-dualistic realm of Dharma, to view good and bad as separate is a great mistake! To cling to things with characteristics is utter ignorance! I confess in the space of non-dualistic great bliss! In the realm of Samantabhadra, where there is no good or bad, to view good and bad as separate is truly pitiful! To cling to purity and impurity is truly pitiable! I confess in the space where there is no good or bad! In the Bodhicitta where there is no birth or death, to view this life and the next as separate is truly pitiful! To cling to birth and death as two is utter ignorance! I confess in the space of the immortal Vajra! In the great bindu (Tibetan: ཐིག་ལེ, Devanagari: बिन्दु, Romanized Sanskrit: bindu, Literal meaning: point) without corners, to view form and substance as separate is a great mistake! To cling to corners as two is utter ignorance! I confess in the great, all-encompassing bindu! In the nature that does not change in the three times, to view beginning and end as separate is a great mistake! To cling to change as two is utter ignorance! I confess in the bindu that does not change! In the self-arisen wisdom that cannot be sought, to view cause and effect as separate is truly pitiful! To cling to effort and practice as two is utter ignorance! I confess in the self-arisen space that cannot be sought! In the wisdom of awareness that has no permanence or annihilation, to view permanence and annihilation as separate is truly pitiful! To view existence and non-existence is utter ignorance! I confess in the wisdom space that has no permanence or annihilation! In the pure Dharma realm that has no beginning or end, to view partiality, boundaries, expansion, and contraction as separate is truly pitiful! To cling to boundaries as two is utter ignorance! I confess in the pure Dharma realm that has no beginning or end! In the celestial palace that has no inside or outside, to view inside and outside as separate is truly pitiful! To cling to vastness and narrowness as two is utter ignorance! I confess in the space that has no vastness, narrowness, inside, or outside! In the womb of emptiness, to view high --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the absence of inferiority: If one clings to the upper and lower, the view is completely shattered; if one distinguishes between high and low, afflictions arise; I confess in the expanse where there is no narrowness or wideness. In the absence of differentiation in the Dharmakaya: If one clings to the external world and the mind, the view is completely shattered; if one distinguishes between the container and its contents, afflictions arise; I confess in the expanse of non-dual wisdom. Whatever is done is the play of the father: If one clings to various thoughts, the view is completely shattered; if one clings to names in a reversed manner, afflictions arise; I confess in the expanse of play without clinging or thought. If the wisdom of awareness does not arise from within: The mind of ignorance and delusion is truly pitiable; one clings to formless Dharma as a real entity with characteristics; I confess openly in the expanse of the nature of wisdom. If one does not understand the meaning of unborn: The mind deluded by the individual is truly sad; one clings to 'I' and 'mine' in the unborn Dharma; I confess openly in the expanse of great bliss and unborn. If the meaning of Dharmata is not clear in the mind: One does not know that appearances are illusory; the mind is attached to worldly wealth; I confess in the unborn Dharmata without attachment. If one does not know that the nature of Samsara is empty: One clings to real characteristics as permanent; one clings to characteristics through non-virtuous actions; I confess openly in the expanse of faultless Bodhi. If one does not realize equality in the meaning of equality: One clings to friends who are deluded relatives as permanent; the minds of ignorant beings are truly mistaken; I confess openly in the expanse of the Dharma of equality. If one does not encounter the truth of Dharmata: One abandons the truth and strives for non-virtuous actions; one abandons the teacher's instructions and is deceived by worldly distractions; I confess in the expanse of Dharmata and great bliss. If the wisdom of awareness is not liberated in its own place: One abandons the meaning of self-awareness and strives for distracting actions; such meaningless sentient beings are truly pitiable; I confess in the expanse without partiality. To the wisdom deity and the oath-bound protectors: If mistakes of uncomprehended views occur in the yoga of practicing vows according to the scriptures, I confess openly with a mind of self-reproach and regret. This is the confession of the mind. Fourth, if vows of conduct are broken: One performs the twenty-eight confessions. Hum! As spoken from the mouth of the teacher Vajrasattva: A concise collection of many Agamas and Tantras, entering the gate of Mahayoga, the ultimate key to the indestructible Vajra vows, abiding in the vows and protecting them properly, as it is said in the secret Tantras, due to the causes of ignorance, laziness, and indolence, transgressing the teachings and straying from the vows, I confess openly with a mind of self-reproach and regret, in non-objectification and equanimity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
