There are three types of fever. One is beneficial to the other, but the symptoms and treatments may be wrong. Abscesses and gout, stiff legs, symptoms and treatments may be wrong. For epidemics, the immature and depleted stages should be especially noted. For bruises and swellings, the expanded stage should be especially noted. For poisons and black jaundice, the old stage should be especially noted. For phlegm-bile diseases, the latent stage should be especially noted. For all fevers, cooling and freezing are the main ones. For stomach, spleen, and kidney diseases, phlegm is the main one. For lung, liver, and gallbladder, fever is the main one. For heart, life, and cecum, wind is the main one. For all abdominal diseases, the stomach is the main one. If fever cannot be controlled by cooling, heat should be used as a reverse therapy. If cold disease cannot be controlled by heating, cooling should be used as a reverse therapy. Do not put these words in books, but put them into practice. Do not forget these points, but keep them in mind. Do not just remember the oral instructions, but put them into practice. Therefore, please listen respectfully as I tell you the answer to the question. For all diseases, haritaki (Tibetan: ཨ་རུ་ར།) itself is the best. For wind, bone marrow soup, brown sugar, and old garlic are the best. For bile, bitter ginseng and golden lotus are the best. For phlegm, calamus and honey are the best. For blood, Vasa and Coptis chinensis are the best. For phlegm black jaundice disease, Zhongxi is the best. For indigestion, Karu salt is the best. For tumor diseases, burnt lime water is the best. For ascites disease, Darya Kan itself is the best. For leprosy, Dali iron powder is the best.
