Kidney contusions have three types: upward displacement, enlargement, and downward prolapse. When displaced upward, on both sides of the back of the neck, it is impossible to turn the neck, and one will become hunchbacked. When enlarged in the middle, the kidney and waist rotate and ache, the black veins swell and sting at the connection above the hips, and when asthma and numbness occur, it is unbearable, the joints loosen, and the waist bends. When prolapsed downward, the legs have diarrhea and are numb, in the inner thighs, buttocks, and knee joints, there is kidney pain, and everything below the waist hurts, and when asthma and numbness occur, the hip sockets sting, the back is stiff, and it is impossible to turn the neck, the upper body hurts, and the lower body feels comfortable, and after drinking alcohol and eating warm and nourishing foods, there will be fever, and the joints of the elderly will come loose, and they will become hunchbacked. The first treatment is kidney wind acupuncture wine, apply five-root medicinal oil ointment, burn mugwort bird droppings and fourteen medicinal materials. For kidney deficiency, take juniper kidney butter-cooked food. Mix acupuncture with medlar, amla, and tsampa wine, add cold wine and stir, add brown sugar, ginger, and butter, cook and take warm. Five roots or three kinds of meat (noodles, rice, sesame, mashed meat), ginger and eucommia butter with long pepper, add cloves, cardamom, sand ginger, cinnamon, and chebulic myrobalan. Basam butter with black sesame, and geranium, pomegranate, pigeon, wolfsbane, cloves, three hot medicines and three kinds of rice, three kinds of yogurt and nutmeg, poison, cardamom, eucommia, brown sugar mixed and taken. Perform bloodletting on both the buttocks and lumbar veins. If kidney secretions may turn into blood, it means the kidney vessels are damaged or liver blood is flowing downwards. Use three cooling medicines, rock exudate, bear bile, and Terminalia chebula, add cinnamon, Pyrus baccata, and brown sugar to take. Cut the short pulse and lumbar vein and perform hydrotherapy. If there is urinary incontinence, perform bloodletting with Terminalia chebula. Add eleven medicines such as red four decoction and sandalwood (saffron, musk, rock exudate, bitter medicine, kidney, yogurt, Rubia cordifolia, dye, solvent, Terminalia chebula, Juniperus sabina). Take powder made of Ghee, musk, gold sand, three cooling medicines, Berberis, cinnabar, lentil, and three grains, added with jaggery. If it spreads upwards, perform fumigation (five amrita or musk pills, etc.), and cut the nape vein. If it spreads to the middle, it is best to perform bloodletting. If it falls downwards, perform bloodletting and water bath. If all parts are feverish, add medicinal ghee. Perform moxibustion on the painful area. To treat kidney stones, take a laxative of blue medicine (Terminalia chebula, grape, verdigris) and perform hydrotherapy. After bloodletting from the veins, add catechu (jaggery, red four medicines, three humoral medicines, pig blood and honey mixed) powder. Add three cooling medicines, three yogurts, and three grains. As well as three humoral medicines, gold sand, Berberis, jaggery and honey electuary, and steam bath of five amrita, flowers, and grains. At the buttocks and lumbar veins, mix with blood and perform bloodletting. If all parts are feverish, add honey and wine. Take catechu, medicinal ghee, and honey. Perform moxibustion at all humoral outlets. To treat senile diseases, fumigate with five amrita. After bloodletting, add Ferula asafoetida and medicinal ghee.
