There are four descriptions of symptoms and treatments. The causes include diet, behavior, and spirits, etc. Imbalances in humors can cause oral diseases. The classifications include lips, gums, teeth, tongue, throat, and palate. Lip diseases include throat-lip, herpes labialis, phlegm, furuncle, blood heat, and canker sores, six types. Tooth diseases include phlegm, wind, blood, bile, gum abscess, and tooth worms. Tongue diseases include wind, bile, phlegm, tongue excess, and tongue swelling. Palate diseases include uvula prolapse, tongue-like growth, palate abscess, blisters, bone tumor, and palate maturation. Throat diseases include wind, bile, blood, phlegm, mixed type, goiter, and lymph nodes. There are thirty types of oral disease classifications described in total. Its symptoms are that throat-lip is a lip disease, with fleshy lymph nodes growing. Herpes labialis is cracked lips, and phlegm is grayish-white. Furuncle is the appearance of rashes, pain, and fever. Blood heat is purplish and swollen. Canker sores are ulcers forming on the lips. Gum disease is itchy, decaying, and oozing pus and blood. Tooth disease caused by wind causes teeth to loosen and ache. The pulse throbs, and cold is unbearable. Blood heat bile causes elevated body temperature, dilated pulse, harming nutritious foods. Tooth disease caused by phlegm causes gum decay and unpleasant odor. Gum abscess swells at the root of the tooth and turns into pus. Tooth worm disease cannot tolerate hot or cold. Feeling tired and weak, with severe pain. Tongue disease caused by wind causes the tongue to be rough, blocked, and unable to taste. Tongue disease caused by bile causes red rashes to appear, accompanied by fever. Tongue disease caused by phlegm causes the tongue to be gray, smooth, and very uncomfortable. Tongue excess is a tongue-like swelling under the tongue that is painful. Tongue swelling causes the mouth to be full, drooling, and unable to eat. Uvula prolapse enlarges like a cow's nipple. Blocking the throat, food and drink cannot pass through, coming out of the nose and vomiting. This kind of uvula swelling is similar to the tongue. Palate abscesses appear as abscesses in the back of the palate and ooze serum. Blisters are soft and ruptured abscesses in the middle of the palate. Bone tumor is a painless swelling into a hard lump. Palate maturation is pus draining from the palate. Throat disease caused by wind causes ear and cheek pain. The inside of the throat is swollen, hot, and dry. Blood heat bile causes swelling, redness, heat, and suppuration. Phlegm causes swelling to be gray in color, and there is too much mucus. Mixed type causes the throat to be filled with granular matter, and rashes appear. Goiter disease causes rapid swelling inside and out and turns into pus. Lymph nodes are hard, slightly painful, and do not mature. The treatment methods include scraping the throat-lip and cauterizing with iron. Mix Euonymus alatus, propolis, and three fruits with honey and apply. For herpes labialis, cut the left and right edges and apply bile.
