In the middle, nasal mucus flows and the lips are blocked. Finally, sneezing occurs in succession. Lung colds first have a hot and stinging throat. In the middle, coughing is frequent, and the head, chest, and back ache. Finally, pus is coughed up, turning into tuberculosis. Epidemic colds cause pain in the head, joints, shins, and calves. The upper body is uncomfortable, and the thighs and waist feel beaten. The mouth is dry, the body is uncomfortable, and one feels cold and shivers. At night, there is fever and many disturbing dreams. If this condition becomes severe, depletes essence, and worsens, it is called "acidic cold," which causes many deaths. Nasal colds cause the nose to be hot, itchy, and have a lot of nasal mucus. The treatments are: throat colds are treated by careful diet and behavior. Lung colds are treated by chewing the pulp of haritaki. Take cold infusions of Sro Lo, costus root, and gentian. When the throat is hot and stinging, add Lishi and the sixth medicine. Finally, colds.
