If the abdominal wall is injured, one can survive, 25-415 but if the waist is injured, one will die. The signs of this are pain in the waist and retention of urine. The body loses strength, and whatever is eaten is not digested and is vomited. Even if one hopes to live, death will come in fourteen, twenty-three, or thirty-five days. If the gallbladder is perforated, one will have bilious diarrhea and vomiting and die. If one is beaten or bruised, tears will flow and the complexion will turn yellow. If not treated in time, death will come within five days. If the upper colon is injured at the head of the small intestine, there will be pain in the waist, and one will excrete rotten blood, have diarrhea and vomiting, and die within nine days. If the cecum is injured, worms will be excreted, and one will have diarrhea and vomiting, and pain in the waist will occur. The colon will swell, and urine will be blocked. If a skilled doctor treats this, one will mostly survive. If the small intestine is perforated, the body will be unable to sit up. There will be severe pain, and the scrotum will swell and burn. The number of perforations in the small intestine determines how many days one can survive; one hole means one can only live for one day. If the large intestine is perforated, one can survive if treated in time. If one is beaten or cut, one will develop a fever. The intestines will ache, and one will have diarrhea and yellow tears. If the anus is perforated, worms will move up and down. If one hiccups and claps, one will die within a day. If the anus is injured, feces will be vomited or retained. If it is black, it will be difficult to survive, but if it is white, one will survive. If the bladder's vital point is injured, urine will be retained or vomited. If it goes to the upper part, one will die, but if it goes to the abdominal wall, one will survive. If it goes to the bottom of the bladder, the body will become numb and one will fall on one's back. If one can perform exorcism and the injury is minor, one can survive. The spleen, colon, bladder, and so on, the vessels have no difference from their respective symptoms. The sixth part is about distinguishing between life and death: From the moment one is injured in the back, one loses memory, and fainting, panic, trembling, bloody diarrhea, and vomiting will all lead to death. If one is stabbed within three to five days, no matter what, the fever will not subside, and the pain will not lessen. No matter how one treats it, it will be of no use, and death is certain. The breath from the mouth and nose (the movement of the breath) is cold, and sweat forms on the face. Wounds cut and pierced by knives or spears, First, apply gauze soaked in Asa, After that, remove blood clots if there are any, and adhere pus if there is any, If there is discharge, use cotton pads, eliminate faults, and treat the wound. Being shot by an arrow is more serious than stinging pain, If it is more serious than stinging pain, apply Asa to the wound, In this way, stop bleeding, eliminate wind evil, and astringe the wound. Except for muscles, leave the wound uncovered, Make the wound dry, the pulse clear, and do not accumulate edema. If it is more serious than stinging pain, observe whether it can be tolerated, The signs of being able to tolerate it are reduced pain, quiet lying, and comfort, then leave it. Arrange the bed (lie down in a comfortable position, take a decoction of arura), put on clothes, and apply pressure on it (take ghee, take meat wine, and then perform moxibustion). If you do not want to endure it, take it out, For this, there are two methods: searching and taking out.
