Liver disease causes swelling above the liver. If one doesn't know how to lie on their back, it's a kidney problem. There is swelling above the kidneys, and urination is difficult. The stomach swells and swells upwards. All of these will ripen, and pus, blood, and rottenness will flow out. Sometimes it accumulates, causing mental confusion. The treatment is to cut open and bleed, then thoroughly cleanse from the stomach and veins. Apply rock sugar and white calamus to the eyes. Subdue the swelling with a bath of five amrita. Alternatively, use various flowers for bathing. If it doesn't subside, use a bath of Himalayan clematis, crow's claw, and spruce to make it suppurate, ripen, and then cut it open. Alternate between bat suction and Harenu's bath. Dry the pus with mercury pills, and apply powder mixed with the affected area. Mix bael oil with horn, bile, six flavors, and honey to dry it. Apply moxibustion to the pulse gate wound. Thus it is said. From the chapter on treating Surya diseases in the Secret Instructions of the Eight Branches of the Ambrosia Heart Essence Tantra, which is the sixty-sixth. Should be avoided. The treatment is, in the early stages when the disease is mild, to apply beeswax smeared on paper after heating it. Fumigate and massage with mirabilite, turmeric, ginger, and hot ash. Burn the unsubsiding lump with fire. For moderate disease, apply rock sugar urine. Alternatively, apply a mixture of rotten marrow and salt. Drink arura, guggul, juniper, and bachu water. Use Himalayan clematis to make the unsubsiding lump suppurate. For old and enlarged lumps, perform oil therapy and fumigation. Cleanse from the stomach and veins, and bleed from any suitable vein. Mix water purslane, egg fruit, and rock sugar with alkali and urine and apply. If it cannot be cured, treat the burn with a mottled bath. After making it suppurate, treat it like a tumor. For mild pain, cut and burn the hanging roots. Use Badalong, white thorn (white Kadari), red thorn (reddish-brown Kadari), thorn tree, and traka. Purify with long pepper medicinal oil and oil residue (Danda, Durbi, dog's tongue, brown sugar). Apply mirabilite ginger oil, then fumigate with asa. Take blood bile, arura, safflower, sandalwood, and Coptis chinensis, sage, mixed with honey. Apply dog's tongue, rock sugar, Coptis chinensis, and urine. Boil the meat glands with wild animal meat and fumigate. Eat fatty guggul and fumigate with sea buckthorn. Burn the upper and lower pulse glands, and bleed from any suitable area. Tumor bile

This concludes the sixty-seventh chapter, the chapter on treating glands, from the Secret Oral Instruction Tantra of the Ambrosia Heart Essence Eight Branches. ༄༅། The sixty-eighth chapter. The chapter on treating hydrocele. Then again, the wise sage Rigpai Yeshe said, "O great sages, listen! The causes, classifications, and signs of hydrocele, as well as the methods of treatment, will be explained in four ways. The causes are improper diet and behavior, demonic influences, and disturbances of ascending and descending energies. A wrong path enters the testicles, causing swelling. The classifications are wind, bile, phlegm, fat transformation, and urine transformation, and intestinal hydrocele, which are explained as six types. The signs are that wind causes sudden and full swelling. Bile causes redness, heat, high temperature, and suppuration. Phlegm causes small pain, coldness, heaviness, and hardness. Fat causes coldness, softness, and difficulty in suppuration. Urine causes swelling around the testicles below, like a water sac. Intestinal hydrocele is caused by wind churning the intestines, with the end being pushed into the testicles, causing swelling and pain, accompanied by sound, and even if pushed back in, it will reappear. The treatments are that wind is treated with sweet, gentle, and smooth ointments, oil baths, application, massage, followed by medicinal oil. Bile is treated with steaming and bloodletting, and when matured, treated like a wound. Phlegm is treated by enticing with juniper honey, burning eighteen points, steaming, maturing, and washing the wound after suppuration. Fat is treated with steaming using eight types of gravel. The skin is cut open without gaps, the fat is removed, the wound is washed and sutured. Use rhododendron, cardamom, white sandalwood, and long pepper. Apply haritaki oil and sesame oil, and perform oil baths. Urine is treated by piercing the leaking area and treating it like a wound. If the testicle is swollen, burn the cords of the vessels. Intestinal hydrocele is treated with medicinal oil made from five roots. Use gentle ointments and steaming, insert internally and burn the intestinal path. If not healed, cut and burn the filaments and tendons." He said so.
