Regarding actions: Due to the four factors of being unsuitable and unaccustomed, undigested phlegm and mucus increase. When mucus gathers below the lobes of the lungs, it is called "lobes," and it feels like it might slip down. It is empty and painful, and when pressed, it does not slip. Appetite is poor, and it is difficult to digest food. It hurts when eating, and it seems comfortable when hungry. It is called "iron dregs," and like the above, due to being undigested, mucus increases and forms iron dregs on the inner lining of the stomach, weakening the stomach's fire. Frequent belching, and the entire stomach feels vaguely painful. Appetite is poor, the body becomes thin, and there is a desire to lie down. Vomiting undigested mucus and phlegm. Phlegm is excessive, fire is weak, and cold wind is predominant. It is difficult to digest food, and excessive consumption of cooling things. Wearing thin clothes, the body becomes cold, and doing too much water work. Excessive use of cold medicines, purgatives, and bloodletting weakens the digestive function of bile, the balance of fire, and the power of wind. The body is cold, and there is no desire to eat. Bloating, diarrhea, belching, and excretion of immature food. Weakness, thinness, and eventually turning into dropsy. It is called "phlegm obstructing the neck," which is due to the increase of phlegm in the stomach, chest, and lungs, and the vapor of phlegm forms in the trachea and esophagus, like lime adhering to a wall. Therefore, the esophagus is twisted, making it difficult to swallow food. Difficulty breathing, thinness, and loss of physical strength. Due to lack of food and drink, the stomach gradually shrinks. Eventually, the esophagus is blocked, leading to death. It is called "white phlegm knot," which is due to the accumulation and increase of undigested phlegm in the body, making it impossible to determine whether it is a problem with the stomach or liver. No matter what is eaten, it is not fragrant, and there will be vomiting. The calves and eye sockets are painful, and edema occurs. Eventually, it spreads to the limbs, forming nodules. It is called "phlegm depletion," and there is no feeling of fullness. Weakness, thinness, and extreme sensitivity to cold. The shins tremble, and the buttocks are sore. It is called "phlegm skin disease," which is itchy due to loss of warmth. Muscles grow, there is no warmth, swelling and softness, and dirt forms. Excessive sleep, heaviness of the body, soreness of the buttocks, and the appearance of lymph nodes. Entering the veins, the pulse is cold, stiff, and heavy. If it adheres to the bones, the bones are cold and painful. Joint movement is difficult, stretching and bending are difficult, and walking and sitting are difficult. If it invades the heart, it causes confusion. Poor appetite, chest tightness, and heaviness of body and mind. If it invades the lungs, chest tightness, dizziness, and no desire to eat. Coughing up a large amount of greenish mucus. If it invades the liver, the liver hurts after eating.
