Those who were arranging to establish the monastery were to come the next day. In the clear light, there was a tall mountain with lush forests. Below two monkeys, the master and disciples were dwelling. Above, a woman, large in stature, majestic and glorious, adorned with ornaments, emerged slowly from the summit, saying: "May there be auspiciousness! May wishes be fulfilled! Sta ti! Svasti!" Such an auspicious sign appeared, indicating a very good omen. On the fourteenth day of the waxing moon of the sixth Tibetan month, they began to continuously make offerings. 22-269 They also created an extensive biography of Buddha Shakyamuni of Desri, and painted about sixty Thangkas, all of which were completed perfectly and consecrated. They welcomed the image of Zhabdrung himself. They offered many precious items, including the Jowo Lima of Bade Ngamchen and the profound Buddha image brought from Jayul. Hearing that Depa Machen of Tingkye Monastery had passed away and a memorial service was needed, they set out on the fourteenth day of the eighth Tibetan month, and went to Taktan and Jonang Monastery, where they consecrated the newly painted murals. Scholars Lungrig and his disciples from Jangtang came and served and entertained the monasteries up and down, and offered generous gifts. Then they went to Tingkye Monastery, where more than two thousand monks gathered for the Depa's funeral ceremony and the main practice, and presided over the Dharma assembly. The offerings, donations, and distributions were excellent, and they made extensive dedications. Then they went to Zarkyara and held the groundbreaking ceremony for the establishment of the Chokhor Dechen Monastery. They went to Kachen again and bestowed the empowerment of Blood-Drinking Vajra and the longevity empowerment, as well as other pacifying empowerments and subsequent permissions. Passing through Sang-ngak Riwo, they arrived at Gerong. They held the groundbreaking ceremony for Taktan Chöpel Monastery. Then, passing through Jonang Monastery in sequence, they briefly taught the Kalachakra. After Jiang Zhabdrung passed away, according to custom, they held a secret fire puja and the same memorial service as before, and according to the calendar, they made offerings at the annual festival, starting from the beginning of the twelfth Tibetan month. The master and disciples immediately finished teaching the Kalachakra and set out to return. On the twenty-third day of the twelfth month, they arrived in Shigatse, and on the twenty-fifth day, they held a grand Dharma assembly. In the main hall, the monks of Ngor and Taktan monasteries gathered together.
