Then again, one falls into hell, where there is a bottomless river of ashes, transformed into unbearable saline boiling water, one must enter it and endure the pain of separation of flesh and bones for a long time. Showing that there is no reliance on obtaining the rank of gods in the three realms: the pleasures of the heavenly realm are extremely vast, and after Brahma obtains the pleasure of detachment from desire, he again becomes firewood for the fire of Avici hell, and must endure uninterrupted suffering. The gods of the desire realm enjoy the perfect sensual qualities of the heavenly realm and are called extremely great happiness, {this} is the manifestation of attachment to sensual pleasures and detachment from them, and Brahma himself, who has obtained the bliss of samadhi in meditation, will also be reborn in Avici hell after death, and his body will become firewood for the {fire} of hell, and he must endure uninterrupted suffering. The way the gods of the desire realm enjoy sensual pleasures is: the gods of the four great king families, the Thirty-three Gods, the Gods of No Strife, the Tushita Gods, etc., are able to control the enjoyment of those who live nearby. The Gods of Joyful Transformation are, on top of that, they can also enjoy the sensual pleasures that they transform themselves. The Gods Who Control Others' Transformations are, not only do they transform themselves, but they can also enjoy the enjoyment that others transform. For the worldly people who are manifest and well-known, let's just say that, showing that there is no reliance on the wealth of the wandering gods: even if one obtains the sun and the moon, one's own light illuminates the entire world, and again falls into the abyss of darkness, so that even stretching out one's arm cannot be seen. Reborn as the gods of the sun and moon, that is, having obtained the position of the sun and moon, they rely on the glory of the power of karma, and their own light illuminates the entire world, possessing merit, but again reborn into the darkness between the continents and the dark abyss of the underground hell, even the pain of not being able to see one's own outstretched arm must be experienced. Sixth, alone, suffering without friends, thus making mistakes.

May the merit of transformation be to ignite the light of the three lamps. Alone, one enters the endless darkness that the sun and moon cannot penetrate. Quickly, due to faults, one will die. At the time of death, one dies alone, At the time of taking birth, one takes birth alone. At the time of accumulating karma, one accumulates karma alone. At the time of experiencing the ripening results, one experiences them alone. Thus, without companions, alone, unable to be illuminated by the sun and moon, one enters the endless darkness of suffering. To dispel such darkness, please hold the lamp of the three kinds of merit. The three kinds of merit are: merit arising from generosity, merit arising from ethical conduct, and merit arising from meditation. The first two are easy to understand. The third is: faith, renunciation, compassion, patience, etc., which are all objects of meditation. Meditating on emptiness is the accumulation of wisdom, so it is not counted here. Among the sufferings of various beings, when discussing the suffering of hell, the causes and divisions are explained: Beings engage in evil deeds, In Sañjīva (Tibetan: ཡང་སོས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: पुनर्जन्म, Sanskrit Romanization: punarjanma, Chinese literal meaning: पुनर्जन्म), Black Line, Extreme Heat, etc., as well as Collective Destruction (Tibetan: བསྡུས་འཇོམས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: разрушение, Sanskrit Romanization: razrusheniye, Chinese literal meaning: разрушение), Howling, Avīci, etc., in the hells, one constantly experiences suffering. Any sentient being who commits evil deeds, relies on the ten non-virtuous actions, and becomes accustomed to them, relying on them through the actions of body and speech, and cultivating them in mind, accumulating and engaging in them many times, will be cast into the realm of hell. The divisions of this are: Sañjīva (Tibetan: ཡང་སོས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: पुनर्जन्म, Sanskrit Romanization: punarjanma, Chinese literal meaning: पुनर्जन्म), Black Line, Collective Destruction (Tibetan: བསྡུས་འཇོམས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: разрушение, Sanskrit Romanization: razrusheniye, Chinese literal meaning: разрушение), Howling, Extreme Heat, Avīci, these are the six hot hells directly indicated. Indirectly, mentioning Howling includes the Great Howling Hell; mentioning Extreme Heat includes the various hot hells, i.e., the eight hot hells. And from these are derived the eight cold hells, the neighboring hells, and the hells of close proximity. In those hells, one experiences suffering for a long time. Sañjīva (Tibetan: ཡང་སོས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: पुनर्जन्म, Sanskrit Romanization: punarjanma, Chinese literal meaning: पुनर्जन्म), Black Line, Collective Destruction (Tibetan: བསྡུས་འཇོམས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: разрушение, Sanskrit Romanization: razrusheniye, Chinese literal meaning: разрушение), as well as Howling, Great Howling, Extreme Heat, Extreme Heat, Avīci Hells. As the summary states, these are the eight hot hells.
