It is not. Because "body" refers to self-nature, therefore, the perverted clinging to one's own self-nature gives rise to the view of the perishable aggregate. Doubt here refers to doubting the meaning of the Four Noble Truths, that is, from the cause of the origin of suffering arises the fruit of suffering, and from the cause of the path of truth, one obtains the fruit of cessation, Nirvana, doubting this. These three fetters are like blocking the gate of the city of liberation. One should recognize that they are the main afflictions that hinder hearing, and thus strive to eliminate them. Among the countless afflictions to be abandoned by sight, why are the three fetters specifically mentioned here? The Abhidharmakosha states: "Not wanting to go and the wrong path, and doubting the path, so many. Obstructing the passage to liberation, therefore, three are taught." Just as the view of the perishable aggregate is not wanting to walk the path, clinging to asceticism is taking the wrong path, and doubt is doubting the path, they obstruct the progress of the path to liberation and are the main afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing. The fourth point is to exhort the practice of the three higher trainings, wherein the exhortation to practice the cause of the three higher trainings is: Liberation depends on oneself, and for this, there is no other help. Therefore, strive to hear, be endowed with discipline, contemplate meditation, and practice the four truths. The higher training refers to the three trainings of the noble lineage that have transformed into the essence of the unpolluted path. Liberation refers to: If one thinks that liberation arises not from oneself practicing the path, but from others giving blessings, etc., that is not the case. Although one must rely on oneself practicing the path to attain liberation, it is impossible to attain liberation without one's own effort, but through the help of others. That is to say, hearing the immaculate meaning of the scriptures, and contemplating and meditating on its meaning, is the cause of higher wisdom training; abandoning the ten non-virtues, etc., and abiding in discipline, etc., is the cause of higher discipline training; practicing meditation, tranquility, and insight, etc., is the cause of higher concentration training.

Through the gate of complete determination, diligently practice the meaning of the Four Noble Truths! The three trainings, with their main points and related meanings, are instructed as follows: The main points are: higher discipline, higher wisdom, and constantly practice higher mind. Even the one hundred and fifty-plus trainings are all perfectly contained within these three. From the stage of the first practitioner, one must uphold the three trainings. In the stages of accumulation and preparation, one should further increase them. When one attains the path of seeing, the three trainings become the cause of the mundane, transforming into the higher three trainings. The actual foundation of the noble path is the higher three trainings. Therefore, one should constantly practice higher discipline, higher wisdom, and higher mind, i.e., samadhi, in order to attain the state of peaceful nirvana. The objects of training, such as the 253 precepts of a monk and countless others, as taught in the sutras of both the Great and Small Vehicles, are all perfectly contained within these three trainings. Therefore, one should diligently practice these trainings. The related meaning is: "The dominion, the body's attachment, mindfulness, the Sugatas, showed the one path to approach. That should be concealed and manifestly protected, for if mindfulness is lost, all dharmas will be destroyed." By the meaning of dominion, calling the king the lord of the earth and saying "body's attachment." Here, "body" means nature. One should thoroughly examine the nature of all phenomena, both self and other, container and contents, and understand the reality of things, which is higher seeing and clear knowing. And this must be maintained with undistracted mindfulness. Mindfulness causes all virtuous dharmas to increase, so all the Sugatas have shown the one path to approach, which means that all Buddhas have practiced this. Such mindfulness should be guarded and maintained with diligent effort without distraction. If one falls away from mindfulness, one will lose clear knowing, and without clear knowing, all dharmas, including the three trainings, will be destroyed. The meaning of the path of seeing has been explained above, and here is a summary.
