Under the threat of the wriggling of worms, 21-657 Some people rely entirely on the light of fire for the sake of comfort, although it seems temporarily Comfortable, the disease will not subside, but the heat will increase again due to pus, thereby increasing the stinging sensation. Similarly, Just like that, relying on the merits of desire, although temporarily feeling satisfied, But desire will grow again, and there is no time to be satisfied, therefore, You should also understand the attachment to desires, and prevent attachment to the merits of desire from the very beginning. In this way, after the discourse on mindfulness, which precedes all paths, has been completed, ༄། །Explanation of the Actual Path. In explaining the actual path, there are: A detailed explanation of the common path of the Vehicle, and the uncommon path of the Great Vehicle and the fruit {of [the] Only the entrance is shown. Detailed explanation of the common path of the Vehicle. First, identifying the object of meditation in a concise manner, And explaining the order of the five paths in a detailed manner, ༈ Identifying the object of meditation in a concise manner. The first is: In order to see the ultimate truth, for all things, Practice mindfulness in accordance with reality! Like this, there is not a single other dharma that possesses merit. The necessity is to see and realize the reality of the ultimate truth. Generally, The ultimate truth refers to emptiness and freedom from elaboration, but here it mainly refers to the selflessness of the person. The object of meditation, for things, should be mindful in accordance with reality, And practice this. The benefit of this is that, in general, unspecified and unwholesome Are meaningless and wrong, so there is no benefit, and all virtues Have benefits, but like mindfulness in accordance with reality, There is not a single dharma that has equal and identical merits. The nature of mindfulness in accordance with reality for things Is to meditate on the meaning of the Four Noble Truths, and the reason for mindfulness in accordance with reality 21-658 Is that for what is, to think it is, and for what is not, to think it is not, To meditate in accordance with the reality of things is mindfulness in accordance with reality, And afflictions are [caused by] non-mindfulness in accordance with reality.

Because these two are contradictory. By properly directing the mind, one destroys the afflictions of improperly directing the mind. Meditating on the meaning of the four noble truths is: From meditating on the sixteen aspects of the four noble truths, such as impermanence, the truth of suffering {from[from], impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness {are four[are four]: all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all contaminated phenomena are suffering, all phenomena are empty, and the meaning of all phenomena are without self. The objects included by matter and consciousness are conditioned phenomena because they are assembled by causes and conditions. Moreover, in an instant {of[of] the next moment {not} arises, and the previous moment ceases, so like constant change and destruction, it is impermanent. Correspondingly, properly directing the mind, and all conditioned phenomena except for the path truth are contaminated. That is, the world of places and containers included in the three realms, the sense faculties, the body, consciousness, and mental factors are all contaminated. Among them, those related to painful feelings are the suffering of suffering. Those related to pleasant feelings [are] the suffering of change. Those related to neutral feelings are the suffering of conditioning. Among them, the suffering of suffering is known even by animals and so on. The suffering of change is seen by intelligent people. The suffering of conditioning [is] although it is the basis of all suffering, it is not known by others, but is realized by the noble ones. The emptiness of all phenomena, generally speaking, emptiness often refers to freedom from elaboration. But here, the aspect of the truth of suffering {of[of] emptiness refers to the emptiness of incompatible causes and effects. The person who is the creator, such as Ishvara, and what is done by those who speak of time as the cause, does not exist in the reality of things, and it is known to be empty by such a creator. It is only that it appears as a result from the assembly of various compatible and suitable causes and conditions. The selflessness of all phenomena is that the self [I] that is grasped by the clinging (manner) of innate self-grasping never exists in reality, from the aspect of the object.
