The one who has attained the third has not gone beyond the path of accumulation. There, it is said that the wisdom of the heat of the path of joining arises due to the power of the generation stage, which is a special point. Secondly, the noble path is encompassed by twelve or thirteen and a half grounds. These are expressed using terms common to the general vehicle, such as "Joyful," and terms unique to the yogini tantras, such as "Place." As it is said: "In the tantra, the Place is the Joyful Ground. Likewise, the Near Place is Immaculate. Field is to be known as Illuminating. Near Field is Radiating. Chanda (藏文,梵文天城体,chandas,Intention) is Manifest. Near Chanda (藏文,梵文天城体,chandas,Intention) is Difficult to Tame. Assembly has Gone Far. Near Assembly is Unmoving. Cemetery is Excellent Wisdom. Near Cemetery is the Cloud of Dharma." Also, in the "Nomenclature of the Lamas": "Incomparable and Possessing Wisdom, the Vajra Ground is the Thirteenth." The names of the remaining three are also mentioned. These, when connected with the above, are: "Drinking and Enjoying, Incomparable Great Wisdom. Near Drinking and Enjoying, Possessing Wisdom. The Thirteenth is the Ground of Vajra Holders." These come from the teachings of the former lamas. Thus, the first of the Joyful Ground and the first of the Place is the Path of Seeing. The remaining eleven and the lower half of the thirteenth are the Path of Meditation. The cause for attaining these grounds is the merging of the channels, elements, and winds into the central channel. This depends on conduct and the proximate cause. In the seven impure grounds, there is only the conduct of completely overcoming. From there up to the twelfth, there is only the conduct of completely overcoming, or there is also the progression of the proximate cause. The lower half of the thirteenth necessarily depends only on the proximate cause. This also involves externally traversing the four great places, such as Jalandhara, and internally practicing the conduct of Samantabhadra in the special gatherings of the heroes and yoginis residing in those places, causing the four, such as the Irreversible Mother, and the elements and winds to merge into the central channel, giving rise to the realization of the first ground. The others can be inferred similarly. Thus, in the first and second grounds, there are the great places and the four transformations of channels, elements, and winds.

Then, starting from ten, the remaining eight are divided into two and two, the eleventh and twelfth are divided into four and four, and the lower half of the thirteenth is the five hidden channels, and the demon-free realms and winds must be dissolved into the central channel. Thus, most of the qualities of the grounds are the same as the common vehicle, and the eleventh and twelfth are on top of the increasing qualities of the ten grounds, and they especially realize the wisdom of realizing all the dharmas as they are, which is called having power over the Dharmakaya realm. The lower half of the thirteenth is called obtaining power over the Svabhavikakaya realm, and it possesses immeasurable wisdom that realizes all the realities of the dharmas as they are and as many as they are. The eight great outer places that are the share of the eleventh and twelfth grounds are, recognizing them as the eight great charnel grounds, and the five great outer places that are the share of the lower half of the thirteenth ground are, Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya) and the places in the four directions near it. Thus, in the root tantra, there are thirty-two great places directly taught, although there are cases of combining with the inner body, it is said that there are twenty-four in Chakrasamvara, and combining them sequentially with the non-separating channels, etc., should be understood from the teachings of Sambhuti. Second, in terms of supplementing the oral instructions, it is about recognizing the eight views and how to guide them. First, there are four views on the path of ordinary beings, and four tenets on the path of the noble ones. First, the view of the vase empowerment is self-nature, which is mainly non-conceptual, the view of the secret empowerment is self-arisen wisdom, which is mainly clarity, the view of the wisdom-knowledge empowerment is the four joys of increasing upwards, which is mainly bliss, and the view of the fourth empowerment is the four joys of increasing downwards, which are inseparable from bliss and emptiness. The first is divided into three: the self-nature of the appearance aspect, the self-nature of the emptiness aspect, and the self-nature of union. These are the appearance experiences, emptiness experiences, and appearance-emptiness union experiences related to meditating on the mandala. All three are the dharmata that is free from mental constructs, the dharma characteristic that is contrary to the incomprehensible, and the essence is one but the aspects are different, thus three characteristics are taught.
