It is summarized by the three. That is, there are both common terms of the general and common vehicles, such as the name "Great Joy," and unique terms of the Yogini Tantra, such as the name "Place." As it is said in the scripture: "In the scripture is the Great Joy Ground, likewise the nearby place is without stain, the field should be known as luminous, the nearby field is radiating light, meditation is manifested, the nearby meditation is difficult to subdue, the gathering has passed for a long time, the nearby gathering is unwavering, the charnel ground is excellent wisdom, the nearby charnel ground is the cloud of Dharma." Also, in the "Compendium of Names," it says: "The incomparable ground is endowed with wisdom." It also says: "The Vajra Ground is the thirteenth ground." It also speaks of the names of the remaining three grounds. If combined with the previous content, it is: "Drinking and enjoying, incomparable, great wisdom, near drinking and enjoying, possessing wisdom, the thirteenth is the ground of Vajra Holder." This appears from the teachings of the previous lamas. In this way, the beginning of the Great Joy Ground and the beginning of the Place are the Path of Seeing, and the remaining eleven grounds and the latter half of the thirteenth ground are the Path of Meditation. The cause for obtaining these grounds is the merging of the channels, elements, and winds into the central channel, and this depends on conduct and proximate causes. In the impure seven grounds, there is only the conduct of subduing the four maras, and even up to the thirteenth ground, there is only the subduing of the four maras or the conduct of proximate causes, while the latter half of the thirteenth ground necessarily depends on proximate causes. That is, externally, traveling to the four great sacred places such as Jalandhara, and in the special gatherings of the heroes and yoginis residing in those places, practicing the conduct of Samantabhadra, thereby internally, the four mothers of the four bodies and the elements and winds merge into the central channel, giving rise to the realization of the first ground, and others are inferred accordingly. Thus, in the first and second grounds, there are four transformations of the four great sacred places and the channels, elements, and winds, and from then until the tenth ground, the remaining eight grounds each have two transformations, the eleventh and twelfth grounds each have four transformations, and the latter half of the thirteenth ground has the hidden five channels and the elements and winds of the separating and uniting mother.
