Such is the goddess, Tara, the one with great fame, virtuous and dispelling fear. It is clearly stated as such. In the Yoga Tantra, taking the bliss of holding as the path is not extensively discussed elsewhere, but it is clearly stated in the Vajrasekhara Tantra. It says: "The goddess Vajra makes a sound, embracing her own goddess with her knees. Turning her head on her chest, smiling and looking everywhere, holding the hand of the Bhagavan." It is said thus. The Glorious Supreme First Buddha says: "On her side is the great Vajra, diligent in raising the arrow, embracing with soft hands, and raising the banner of morality." It is said thus. The Anuttarayoga, taking the bliss of union as the path, is repeatedly taught in its own tantras. That is, in the Glorious Guhyasamaja, it says: "The supreme consort of the Tathagata, meditate on the eyes and so on. By the union of the two organs, one will attain the actual accomplishment of the Buddha." It is said thus. The Sambuta says: "Uniting together with the selfless one, entering into the joy of two and two equally, having the nature without waves." It is said thus. Secondly, in the Kriya Tantra, one merely invites the deity in front and recites mantras, without generating oneself as the deity, obtaining siddhis in the manner of a master and servant. In the Carya Tantra, one obtains siddhis in the manner of oneself and the deity being friends. In the Yoga Tantra, the external deity is only placed as a support for focus, and one mainly practices the inner yoga of the deity. The term "generation stage" is not applied consistently to the deity yoga of all three of these, and there is also no meditation in the manner of taking the aspect of what is to be abandoned as the path. However, in the Anuttarayoga, these are present, and there is the meditation of seeing all appearances as deities, and the self-generated deity does not have the practice of sending away or inviting back, etc., making it superior to the former in many ways. Therefore, because it mainly shows external actions, it is called the Kriya Tantra. Because it practices both external and internal actions equally, it is called the Ubhaya Tantra, or the Carya Tantra. Because it knows that external actions have no essence, it mainly practices inner yoga, and therefore it is called the Yoga Tantra. Internal and external are equal.

Knowing this, the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantra, which practices only inner yoga, as stated in the commentary on the condensed meaning of the Hevajra, those who have little ability to meditate on Suchness but particularly enjoy practices with signs, mainly teach external conduct, which is the Action Tantra, the Vajra Pinnacle. Also, as stated therein, those who are fond of the characteristics of Action Tantra and also delight in combining vast methods and wisdom practices, without abandoning the nature of inner self, these are the tantras of both, which are in accordance with both Action and Yoga Tantras, called the Vajrapani Abhisheka. Also, as stated in The Nature of That, this tantra is mainly focused on meditation. Also, as stated in the commentary on the contemplation of the Conqueror of the Three Realms, yoga is the state of mind resting in equanimity. Therefore, in order to accomplish the benefit of Bodhisattvas through the means of mantras, combining various methods such as mantras, mudras, mandalas, and empowerments, through lineage, it is called the Yoga Tantra. Also, as stated in the commentary on the words of the Manifestation of Enlightenment, although the Holy Compendium of All Truths and others are mainly focused on inner practice, it is not that there are no outer practices. Also, as stated in the Later Tantra of the Guhyasamaja, Emaho, it is extremely rare, this is the method to accomplish enlightenment, it is the most supreme of the tantras, called the Guhyasamaja Tantra. Also, as stated in the Vajra Heart Ornament Tantra, I request the Blessed Ones, the Tathagatas, to explain the stainless wisdom, the jewel of Bodhicitta, the unsurpassed. Also, as stated in the Gur Tantra, Ema, the Tantra of the Dakinis, is the supreme of all tantras, easy to understand yet difficult to understand, knowing yet like not knowing. In its commentary, it says, the supreme of all tantras is the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantra, because it is the supreme of Action and Performance Tantras, etc. Thus it is. Next, explaining their path stages. Second, explaining their path stages, divided into the path stages of Action Tantra, the path stages of Performance Tantra, the Yoga Tantra, and the Yoga
