On that snow mountain, to the east and west, at the base where rivers flow abundantly, eighty thousand great lotus plants are completely mixed. It appears like a lake, and its flow is invisible, but a white color is visible. That is called the Sita River. This river is two and a half thousand leagues long in length, and it completely enters the poisonous ocean to the east and west. It is about a league in width. This water is extremely cold. Except for beings of hell, there are no creatures such as birds, fish, or crocodiles. On this side of the river, there is a mountain called Copper Color Mountain.
