If names are not given, there will be faults in the general text later, the mind will be confused, and the expression will be uncomfortable. Therefore, before connecting, the respective terms should be established. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) A, I, U, Ṛ, ḷ are the same. The letter A and the letter I 19-62 and the letter U and the letter Ṛ and the letter ḷ are all called "the same letter". Here, if A, I, U, Ṛ, ḷ are connected, it becomes ཨ་ཡྦྲླྀ་, but we don't do that here, because connecting is done when there is a need and a desire, and it is not necessary to connect in all cases. Therefore, in what will be explained below, sometimes it is done to reduce the number of letters, but in the original text, if it is done that way, the text will not be beautiful and difficult to understand, so to avoid students feeling difficult and scared from the beginning, it is not done that way. It is beautiful to be easy to understand and easy to explain from the beginning. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) Short, long, and those distinguished by pluta are similar. A, I, U, Ṛ, and ḷ. If they are distinguished, they can be divided into short, long, and very long pluta, so some think there are fifteen in total. However, the first four have three each, and some do not have long vowels, then there are fourteen similar vowels. Some other texts think that ṛ and ḷ do not have very long vowels, but since this contradicts the obvious facts, it is not accepted here. Among them, short A, long Ā, and ཨ྅་, which is very long, are all the letter A, and the others are the same. A and I, etc., are five identical to each other, but not similar. The three of A, long, short, and pluta are similar to each other, and the same applies to I, etc. Any letter that is similar is also the same. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning) The remaining accomplishments from the world are also explained here. Here, starting from naming terms such as same and similar, the other remaining, that is, what is not explained here, what is widely known in the world, and what is widely known in the treatises, can also be used when explaining this text, and what is 19-63 appropriate will be explained below.
