The eight unfree states are: Hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, barbarians, long-lived gods, those with wrong views, and times without Buddhas, mutes, these are the eight unfree states. The six types of earth tremors and the eighteen omens are: The east is high and the west is low, likewise the four directions, the center and the edges are six places.
