The afflictions of a Bodhisattva are like fertilizer, the basis for generating all the Buddha's teachings. Attachment, hatred, and ignorance, when clung to, become poison. If the poison is pacified, the poison is made non-poisonous. If nectar is gradually relied upon, it becomes nectar itself. What binds the foolish, the wise are completely liberated from that. If one meditates on enlightenment, all these become reversed. Whoever is bound by delusion, and goes to the end weeping, he himself is liberated from it, and obtains happiness through the power of wisdom. The desirable fruit of happiness is supreme clarity, in harmony with the mind. If one seeks the fruit and strives to accumulate merit, who with intelligence would prevent it? Intolerable ascetic vows cause the body to wither and become suffering. Suffering distracts the mind, and distraction turns accomplishment into something else. If the body and mind are stabilized, all happiness will be stable. If body, speech, and mind are at ease, enlightenment will be attained. Otherwise, one will die untimely and will surely be tormented in hell. Intolerable ascetic vows, relying on them will not lead to accomplishment, but relying on all desired enjoyments will lead to swift accomplishment. Because one is also doing prohibitions, abandoning what should and should not be done, like a lotus relying on mud, knowing the essence does not change. Attachment binds the world, attachment itself becomes liberation. Undefiled attachment destroys non-attachment, and bestows all happiness. These should not be taught to someone who is a true monk, or someone who delights in speculation, or someone who has become an elder. Having abandoned the mudra of action, and the mind of enlightenment is very firm, it cannot be obtained by others through symbols, it must be understood by the first practitioner. The beginning, middle, and end are without defilement, abiding there, one is powerless elsewhere. Do not fixate on self, but pervade the minds of all beings, Vajrasattva himself resides there. Having thought thus, the yogi should not despise anything with the senses, have faith and respect for the Three Jewels, adorn with the mind of enlightenment, and follow all beings.

To loving kindness. Abiding in vows and precepts. The basis is equal, the blood and flesh themselves. Completely mixed with the Bodhicitta. Completely endowed with great water. That wisdom is constantly eaten. Human, dog, horse, and cow dung. Great kinds and burdens also arise. All discriminations are completely abandoned. For the sake of accomplishing that, it is eaten. Killing arises from the three realms, and stealing the wealth of others. Engaging in sexual desire with another's wife. Speaking false words. Possessing great skillful means, the yogi accomplishes the benefit of the world. For him, there is no action that should or should not be done. For those who possess wisdom and skillful means, it is said that there is no such thing as sin. The Vajradhara himself said. For the sake of taming the mind of the yogi, young girls and others are permitted. 27. The great ocean of samsara, filled with the water of discrimination. Without riding the Vajrayana, who will go to the other shore? Extremely unruly enemies, some deceive with their claws, and heroes subdue them on the battlefield. It is not subdued by guarding the palace. Extending the line of desire and discrimination, it is not possible to subdue it extremely. Having known the self-nature of that, it is subdued by approaching it. Thus, the mind that arises from all sides, on the afflicted and that object. In that place, the consciousness is not confused, and one possesses the consciousness of a bhikshu. Knowing that action in that way as well, it is said that it is a downfall such as Parajika, spoken by the eyes of the wise who are witnesses. All dharmas precede the mind, and the mind is the chief, as it is said. A bhikshu to his own old father, says "come quickly" for the sake of urging him. Even if that which is offered has died, it is not an action without interval. An Arhat who is extremely ill, to the bhikshu who is attending to his illness, urges him to close my throat. Even if he dies, it is shown to be without fault. With the consciousness of another, in others, even if they die, that fault is not committed. Such is clearly shown in the scriptures. Therefore, the mind has no good or bad. With the mind of that which is compounded, even if a stupa is destroyed, there is no fault. Even having done a near action without interval, it is only a heap of merit. Therefore, on the root of thought, good and evil abide distinctly. In dreams of enjoying pleasure.
