It is not like the way worldly people cling to "I". Like an ignorant child clinging to "I", thinking it is only the size of a thumb, or the size of a white mustard seed, or clinging to it as the size of a tiny dust particle. The "I" spoken of by the Tathagata is not like that. Although it is said that all dharmas are without self, in reality it is not without self. The so-called "I" refers to the dharma that is true, correct, constant, abiding, becoming the master, unchanging, and unmoving; that is the so-called "I". Just like a great doctor 18-130 who is skilled in medicinal milk. The Tathagata is also like that, for the sake of each individual being, he proclaims that all dharmas truly have self. You and the fourfold assembly should also be like that, diligently strive for all dharmas. In the Sutra of the Great Compassion of the Tathagata, as requested by the King of Dhāraṇī Empowerment, it says: Noble son, for example, a skilled gem craftsman who knows well the method of polishing gems, takes an impure precious gem from a gem mine, soaks it in diluted salt water, and thoroughly scrubs it with a hair brush, repeatedly scrubbing it to purify it. But not only that, After that, he soaks it in diluted food juice and thoroughly wipes it with a woolen cloth to purify it. But not only that, after that, he soaks it in strong medicinal juice and thoroughly wipes it with a thin cotton cloth to purify it. Completely purified and free from impurities, it is called a great vaiḍūrya gem. Noble son, likewise, the Tathagata, knowing the impure realm of sentient beings, uses the words of impermanence, suffering, selflessness, and impurity to generate aversion, causing sentient beings who are attached to samsara to develop aversion, thereby introducing them into the Vinaya of the Noble Ones. But the Tathagata does not only do that, After that, he uses the words of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness to enable them to realize the state of the Tathagata. But the Tathagata does not only do that, After that,

The wheel of Dharma of reversion, with the words of the three wheels completely pure, causes those sentient beings with various natures to enter the realm of the Tathagata. Thus it is said. In the Great Nirvana, eight inversions are spoken of. At this time, the sutra says: As you say, we also diligently apply ourselves to the perception of impermanence, suffering, and selflessness, which is truly meaningless. Since diligence in these three is also without true meaning, I shall speak of a Dharma of diligence that is superior to these three. To grasp suffering as happiness, and to grasp happiness as suffering, is the Dharma of inversion. To grasp impermanence as permanence, and to grasp permanence as impermanence, is the Dharma of inversion. To grasp selflessness as self, and to grasp self as selflessness, is the Dharma of inversion. To grasp impurity as purity, and to grasp purity as impurity, is the Dharma of inversion. Thus it is said. The Lankavatara Sutra speaks of transcending mind-only. At this time, the sutra says: Relying on mind-only, one does not contemplate external objects. Relying on the absence of appearance, one should transcend mind-only. Relying on the true object of focus, one should transcend the absence of appearance. If a yogi dwells in the absence of appearance, he will not see the Mahayana. Thus it is said. Therefore, those who conform to the ordinary worldly people of their own nature, and speak like the two schools of Shravakas, and do not understand that explaining the meaning of the Mahayana is a collection of faults, and who regard it as a fault to merely establish conventional truth in accordance with mind-only, are like the corrections of Mönba Gero or the texts of the Lava region, which are the cause of extreme absurdity. The three characteristics are also taught in the Prajnaparamita Sutra. In the chapter of Maitreya's Questions, it says: Maitreya, Bodhisattvas who practice the Prajnaparamita and abide in those who are skilled in distinguishing the Dharma, should understand the establishment of the three ways of distinguishing form. From feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness to the Dharma of the Buddhas, distinguish well.

It should be known to establish, just like this, this is the completely imputed form, this is the form arisen from imputation, this is the form of nature. After saying this, Bodhisattva Maitreya said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, what is the completely imputed form? What is the form arisen from imputation? What is the form of nature? Bhagavan, what are the completely imputed feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness? Bhagavan, what are the completely imputed Buddha-dharmas? The Buddha said: Maitreya, the reality of the characteristics of volition, for that and those, called form, relying on name, thought, sign, establishment, and convention, whatever is completely imputed as the nature of form, this is the completely imputed form. Maitreya, the reality of the characteristics of volition, for that and those, from feeling, perception, volition, consciousness to Buddha-dharma, relying on name, thought, sign, establishment, and convention, whatever is completely imputed as the nature of feeling, perception, volition, consciousness to the nature of Buddha-dharma, these are the completely imputed feeling, perception, volition,
