It is not. All-pervading and specific objects, Mental events, virtuous and, likewise, afflictions, near afflictions, Three feelings and those that correspond to them. The five are in the root consciousness, From what causes do they arise? Is consciousness simultaneous or not? Like waves in water. The arising of mind consciousness Is it constant or without thought? And the two samadhis, Except for mindless sleep and fainting. All seeds of consciousness, By the power of each other, Thus, thus it transforms. Therefore, those discriminations arise. Karma's imprints and the two graspers, The one with imprints is the former, When the other's maturation is exhausted, it is the latter, The one that generates maturation is that. The Victor's teachings, the realm of beginningless time, Is the basis of all phenomena, Because it exists, all beings, And nirvana are also attained. The all-seed of all phenomena, Is the Alaya consciousness, Therefore, the Alaya consciousness, I have spoken to the holy ones. The consciousness of taking is deep and subtle, All seeds flow like a river. It is not reasonable to grasp as self, This I have not taught to children. The Tathagatagarbha, Is also associated with the seven consciousnesses, Is thoroughly involved by the two graspers, It can be prevented by perfect knowledge. The nature of mind is pure, The defiler is the mind. The mind associated with consciousness, Constantly plants imprints. That which arises from the mind's consciousness, View the imprints as stains. The mind is like white cloth, It is not beautiful because of the imprints. (From the Ratnakuta Sutra:) Just as the moon and stars, Together abide in the sky, All the consciousnesses and the Alaya, Also abide in the body together with it. Just as when milk transforms, The qualities are in yogurt and butter, Likewise, the Alaya consciousness also, When transformed, abides in form and so on. The Mahayana sutras extensively explain others, The sutra collection known to all schools, Arises from one and is declared by the name Alaya. The root consciousness is in the Vinaya of the Mahasamghika school, As long as samsara exists, the aggregates are the earth-seeing school, The maturation consciousness is the multi-hearing school, the red-robed school, Exists

The branch of the Vaibhashika, the Sthavira Nikaya. There are many sutras of both the Mahayana and Hinayana like these. The noble Nagarjuna also said: Likewise, the alaya-vijnana is also, although it is false, it seems like it is true. It changes with going and coming, and constantly takes the three realms. The alaya exists because the habit exists. Other than establishing habits, there is no other alaya. If it exists, then it is established, what is the use of scholars arguing about names? However, for others, it is not reasonable with reason. It shows harm to the non-existent and shows establishment to the existent. Seeds do not stay, and arising etc. are impossible. If it arises, then it will become like that for the Arhat as well. If it is said that afflicted mind and alaya do not exist, because they do not exist, and because the six consciousnesses are unstable and repeatedly interrupted. When the senses with form and formless realm temporarily reside, it is not desirable to establish the seed of consciousness on inanimate objects, if it is established, then it will be too extreme. The dim consciousness is not mind, because it cannot cognize the three times, unconditioned phenomena, etc. The mind does not exist, therefore the conditions are not complete for it. In fainting and the two samadhis and deep sleep, if consciousness exists, then this existence is established, the absence of consciousness in sleep and fainting contradicts direct perception. In the absence of consciousness, even if the body is cut off, there is no sin. Others also have consciousness because they will wake up. Life is also the combination of mind and body, there is nothing other than a small part of the sense consciousness. The mind consciousness does not rely on form, because it is not the object of reliance. The mind that wakes up from the state of no mind, if there is no alaya, then it will become without a proximate cause. It is not the time of the first entry into the womb, because it is interrupted and there is an interval at other times. That is not the same as the previous and subsequent moments, just as fire burns without interruption, and hearing without interruption etc. will not be forgotten. If the mind stops from the power of fainting etc., then it will become arising from the control of the power of other arising, the thing of mind becomes the cause of arising. Therefore, no mind is the transformation of mind. Because there are no six consciousnesses, it is not other than the alaya. If there is no this, then the result of karma is impossible, because karma disappears immediately after it is done. Seeds do not stay, how to experience the result? Samadhi will not arise from the desire mind, if there is no this, seeds do not stay, how to arise? World world.
