Shinno! Having thus generated the mind of enlightenment and received the instructions, by meditating on the meaning of the perfections, the limbs of ascertainment arise in the continuum, thereby severing the paths of accumulation and junction. Therefore, the order is taught in this way. In general, all paths are included within the mind of enlightenment itself or the instructions themselves, so although there is no order, this order is in terms of generating the mind of enlightenment first and receiving the instructions first. Thus, the paths of accumulation and junction, in general, are merely the practice of omniscience, but they are not special. The special practices are the noble paths, so in terms of taking the path as the main thing, the basis or cause of all practices is the Dharmadhatu, and the Dharmadhatu is also free from elaboration and has all aspects. Although it is not stained by any conventional dharma from its own nature, in terms of the way it appears to the yogi's mind, the Dharmadhatu, which is the basis of the path of accumulation, and the Dharmadhatu, which is the basis of the path of junction, etc., act as the way of entering the basis of the five paths and ten bhumis. Although the Dharmadhatu is not the direct cause, the name of the direct cause of practice is established through the door of similarity. The Dharmadhatu is the naturally abiding lineage, and since the lineage of increase, which increases the virtuous dharma that is the cause of liberation, also enters depending on it, the establishment of being related to it has also been made. The object of meditation is only all dharmas, and the main object is the dharmata of all dharmas, which is the Tathagatagarbha, so the ultimate emptiness can be both the basis and the object. The purpose is the intention at the time of practice. In this regard, most Tibetans and Chinese seem to combine the three qualities of abandonment, realization, and activity, or the four kayas, or the three wisdoms, etc., included in the Buddha-bhumi, but the sutras related to this do not agree, and combining the etymology of Bodhisattva Mahasattva with the Buddha is also a statement that goes beyond what is appropriate. Therefore, this is the intention that is temporarily needed when the Bodhisattva himself practices, and not just the ultimate purpose.

Namo. In the Sutra, with regard to the explanation of the term Bodhisattva, the great mind is explained by the explanation of the terms 'Bodhisattva' and 'Mahasattva'; the great renunciation is explained by the explanation of 'Bodhi'; and the great realization is explained by the explanation of 'Bodhi'. In the extensive Sutra, the Blessed One spoke of the great mind, Shariputra spoke of the great renunciation, and Subhuti spoke of the great realization. In the 'Collection of Precious Qualities', it says: 'Why is he called a great hero? Because he is the best of many sentient beings, and he cuts off the great views of the realm of sentient beings. Therefore, he is praised as a great hero. He has great generosity, great wisdom, great power, enters the supreme Great Vehicle of the Victors, puts on great armor, and subdues the hosts of demons. Therefore, he is called a great hero.' Thus it is said. For the accumulation of merits of worldly beings, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and all Bodhisattvas, how appropriately they can be made to obtain what has not been obtained in each moment, and to increase what has been obtained, the conduct of having such a mind of enlightenment, becoming the master and supreme of all other sentient beings, is the great mind. By oneself teaching the Dharma to others, what need is there to mention the views of self and extreme views, etc., of those beings? To abandon all the views of clinging to the object of focus on the path and the result is the great renunciation. Even for those who possess immeasurable qualities that others do not have, by the power of realizing the nature of the Dharmadhatu, not to be attached is the great realization. It is like if one focuses on Mount Meru, one will not have the thought of greatness for the Nyagrodha tree. These are the practices of the Bodhisattvas, whatever they practice, they need to be immediately focused and combined, therefore it is called 'focused activity', meaning the reason for things that must be done immediately. The actual practice is to have all six Paramitas grasped by Prajnaparamita and put into practice. Some think that the essence is the six Paramitas, but from the aspect of practice, it is diligence, so the essence of practice is diligence.
