The basis for ceasing all phenomena of the earth is the essence of the naturally luminous and blissful Sugata. This is true as the reality of all phenomena, and it is true because it is established as the nature of the noble equanimous wisdom. However, this does not exist in the nature of conventional phenomena, because it is not established as it is imputed and grasped by the mind. Therefore, sometimes the term 'non-existence' is also used. The cessation truth, when examined separately from the other three truths, appears like an illusion to conventional consciousness, without inherent existence. And to the ultimate wisdom, there is no appearance either. Therefore, it is not established from the beginning and does not exist. The term 'no wisdom' means that when considering the mastery of the ten subjects, it shows mastery of the faculties. But when considering the six subjects, it is included within the mastery of what is and is not the place. Therefore, abandoning the seeds of affliction with the wisdom that realizes the four truths is the place and is reasonable. And abandoning them with the worldly 17-479 attainments is not the place. Abandoning the obscurations to knowledge with the wisdom that realizes the selflessness of phenomena, and obtaining that together with the means, is the place. And without the means, if that wisdom is absent, then obtaining omniscience is not the place. Thus, by combining them, mentioning wisdom and its function is also within the category of what is and is not the place. In reality, the wisdom of the path that realizes the two selflessnesses does not truly exist. If the term 'wisdom' also indirectly refers to the wisdom of the dharmadhatu, then that is emptiness, so it is not conditioned, therefore it is called 'non-existent.' No wisdom. If, as some versions say, it is 'no non-knowing,' then it means that both wisdom and what is to be abandoned by it are without inherent existence. That is, wandering in samsara because of not knowing the true meaning is the place, and because of not knowing the place of non-conceptualization, one will not realize the path and fruit of the Great Vehicle, which is the place. And what is opposite to that is not the place. The term 'no obtaining' is mostly connected only to obtaining enlightenment by most commentators, but here it is applied generally to 'obtaining' and 'not obtaining,' which refers to the increase and decrease of any phenomenon, and the transformation of various states. As it is said:

What is attainment? Answer: Virtue and non-virtue, and the phenomena that are not specified, their increase and decrease are attainment, and are called attainment and possession. That is to say, the seed of any dharma grows and strengthens, its power weakens and declines, and it is related to manifestation or even if it does not manifest, it can newly acquire a previously non-existent ability, or from the decline of what has been attained resulting in attainment, and the possession of the continuity of what has been attained without decline, that is, such a state related to the sentient being's continuum is a symbol of attainment. In short, any dharma arises from its own corresponding cause, ceases from the cause that corresponds to cessation, exists from the cause of existence, and transforms into a different kind from the cause of change, and so on. For example, practicing virtue on the basis of a human being, so that life can be prolonged is to attain the existence of the human basis. Similarly, by the power of virtue, the continuum of the aggregates is reborn as the basis of the gods, which is the new attainment of the state of the gods. Similarly from the cause of non-virtue, the state of hell is attained, as well as the attainment of happiness and the attainment of suffering, the attainment of flourishing and developing things, and the attainment of declining and deteriorating things, the attainment of birth and the attainment of death, etc., these have occurred and transformed which is the manifestation of attainment. Even if it is not manifested now, it will surely arise from a definite cause, and when it is sure to change, it will change, that is also attainment, if there is a force that has already passed then it also possesses the things that have already happened and transformed. Such a state is attainment, and the things that contradict these are non-attainment. These attainments and non-attainments are completely related to place and non-place. That is to say, doing good and attaining the heavens is a place, attaining the evil realms is a non-place, and not attaining it is itself a place. Being accompanied by desire and about to attain birth is a place, being separated from desire and not attaining birth is a place, life is exhausted and attaining death is a place, etc., and the opposite of these is a non-place etc. Just as the great Regent Tsongkhapa said: Undesired, desired and pure, and equal
