These are only the two sequences of dependent origination, because many sutras speak of the dependent origination of arising and reversing. For the reversing, from aging and death to ignorance, the belief that only reversing is necessary relies on one-sided explanations and is an act of usurpation. If we clearly examine from where ignorance arises, it does not arise from itself, it does not arise from others, it does not arise from both, nor is it without cause, therefore, ignorance is unborn. Because it is unborn, the entity of abiding does not arise. Because there is no abiding, there is no cause for destruction, therefore it does not perish. Thus, ignorance is devoid of the three—arising, abiding, and ceasing—therefore it has no nature. From formations to aging and death, it is the same. In the true state of being, there is no birth, no cessation, and although it has never been established from the beginning, merely from the assembly of causes and conditions that appear as if they exist, the appearance of the result that appears as if it exists is not prevented. This is called dependent origination that is free from the four extremes. This should be applied not only to the twelve links but also to all kinds of cause-and-effect dependent origination, such as seeds and sprouts. This is called the ultimate dependent origination, which is merely a temporary ultimate truth. The nature of conventional dependent origination, the wisdom of all aspects, is the dependent origination of the ultimate truth itself. Among them, from ignorance to aging and death, the twelve links of complete affliction are merely illusory appearances and have never existed in reality. Therefore, from the cessation of ignorance to the cessation of aging and death, it is merely the appearance of the yogi's mind, and it does not exist in any other reality, just as a child in a dream never exists, so his death is even more unreasonable. Because the pure dependent origination has not been established from the beginning, those separations from extremes that are merely without nature are also established by the mind in relation to what has extremes, but they do not truly exist. The wisdom of all aspects is also established between the ultimate ignorance and the ultimate aging and death, and there is also between the ultimate cessation of ignorance and the ultimate cessation of aging and death. This wisdom is not an illusory phenomenon that appears as if it exists, but it has entered the true state of being and is truly established, but for it

There are no phenomena of grasping and apprehending, nor of verbal constructs. If ignorance has never existed from the beginning, then, is it contradictory to say that ultimate ignorance is established by its own nature from the beginning? Ultimate ignorance is not ignorance, and the cessation of ignorance is not the cessation of ultimate ignorance, so why would it be contradictory? Similarly, suffering and so on, here suffering is: the five aggregates of clinging together with their basis, that is, the container world, the abode of sentient beings, and the inner body and mind, and all their enjoyments are related to any of the three sufferings, so it is suffering. If suffering is taken as happiness, then, it contradicts its own characteristics, and all actions will be deceived, but knowing that it is suffering is because it is a wisdom that corresponds to the object, and it is not deceived from the perspective of experience, so it is called truth. That which is not deceptive is also realized directly only by the noble ones, so it is the noble truth. The place, body, and enjoyment of samsara are suffering is true, which is the meaning of the noble truth of suffering. The so-called truth is not true in the face of the wisdom that examines the ultimate meaning, nor is it true in the nature of the samadhi of the noble ones, but it is the object of the conventional valid cognition, and it is true in the conventional. The meaning of the noble truth, any aspect of the origin of suffering, the path, and the cessation of suffering is the same as this. The origin of suffering is the cause of suffering, in general, anything that is suffering can also be established as the origin of suffering, but here, whether it is karma or affliction, all of that is the origin of suffering. The reality of the path truth is: those newly arising wisdoms that are included in the three paths of seeing, meditation, and no more learning, which are born from causes and conditions, and the corresponding paths of ordinary people, the nature of the path truth is the eightfold noble path and the ten perfections, and so on. The most important of these are right view and the path of wisdom perfection. The cessation truth has two types: temporary and ultimate, the first is: the abandonment of the newly abandoned obscurations through meditation, that is, the abandonment of each separate, the latter is samsara...
